HNB TXB is a platform created by the devil himself. Don't even think of using HNB and least of all their Indian made TXB facility which makes creating an online payment a 25 minute mission from hell. Their service staff are either brilliant or atrociously poor. Imagine having to put $$ and %% to search for already loaded (takes at least 10 minutes) recipients. Then when you phone their is always a part in the offices at Negombo anyway. It look me 4 calls 2 emails and 4 calls to collogues to get Sanjeev from Negombo to respond and then tells me I need even more information (I had checked before)
I am extremely disappointed with Hatton National Bank TXB online banking. I have repeatedly faced issues when trying to download payment receipts, and this problem occurs far too often. This is a basic and essential feature that a bank should provide without failure. Such repeated system errors cause serious inconvenience and unnecessary delays. It is unacceptable for a bank of this standard. Immediate improvement is required.
Very disappointing experience with the Hatton National Bank – Nittambuwa Branch.
I applied for a credit card almost 3 months ago, but there has been no proper update. Two female staff members were handling the process, and the main staff member repeatedly gave incorrect information and kept saying she would call me back, but I never received any calls.
Both staff members showed a very arrogant attitude and ego when dealing with customers, which made the experience even worse. When I spoke to the branch manager, he simply said “Putha, what happened has happened, there is nothing we can do now.”
Very poor and unprofessional customer service.
I am extremely disappointed with the service at HNB Malabe Branch. It has taken more than 1 hour and 30 mintues to open a simple savings account, which is completely unacceptable.
The process is very slow, there is clear customer favoritism..
This experience has caused me a lot of frustration and inconvenience. I sincerely hope the management looks into improving efficiency, fairness, and customer service at this branch.
Today I called HNB hotline to get the assistance for my forgotten App Password.There I was assited by a very friendly guy called Tharusha. His customer servise is highly appreciated.He clearly shared the details and the way he answered for my question very professional. All the very best Tharusha for your career and future.

I had a credit card of this bank. Charges are very high and unreasonable. I asked for a discount to close down the card but they just waved off very small amount. Thank Go. Finally some how I managed to close down the card. Never go to this bank again.

International traveller with a lot of experience. Needed some cash so went to a HNB ATM. Current rate from Ceylon Bank was Rs188, they paid Rs171 and then charged Rs800 for the priviledge. What a rip off! At least teh ATM dispensed the correct cash, hence 2-stars, otherwise it would have been 1-star.
I recently faced a challenge with my online banking due to the loss of my SIM card, which meant I couldn't receive the OTP needed to access my account. For three days, I struggled to resolve this issue.
However, when I contacted the Pottuvil branch for assistance, I received exceptional support from the team there. Branch Manager Mr. M. Raveendran and Branch Staff Miss/Mrs. S. L. Fathima Miska went above and beyond to help me with my request.
Their prompt and efficient service ensured that my problem was resolved quickly, and I could regain access to my online banking. I am incredibly grateful for their professionalism and dedication.

Amazing bank with several facilities. But I'm offering three stars because of my recent experience at the Negombo Branch (Rajapaksa Broadway).
It's a Sri Lankan's private bank hopefully it's a trustable bank.
