Hearing Assessments

Danielle my hearing specialist on both occasions so far i.e. 10/02/26 & 17/03/26 was very knowledgeable, amiable and explained in detail every part of the assessment clearly for me to understand. In addition showed me various hearing aids with a recommendation of which one to choose and payment methods.

Niall was very good…

Niall was very good at explaining every step, clearly and concisely. Time was taken to make sure the test was accurate. The outcomes were discussed and hearing aids demonstrated. Choosing was straightforward.
The fitting appointment was thorough, in terms of checks, demonstrations of hardware and the mobile phone app. I left feeling confident.

Niail was superb

Niail was superb, led me through the whole thing with a friendly, knowelable and helpful attitude. He certainly knew his stuff and any question asked of the subject was answered with a full explanation and throughout asked if I understood.

Fareham Boots hearing centre. to Fareham hearing centre in…

I went to Fareham hearing centre in boots for my second review. I cannot express enough how helpful, informative and understanding Niall was during my appointment. I was extensively retested and then my aids set up to my new settings. Niall then discussed with me any issues that I had in order to bespoke my settings, how to resolve connection issues I had etc. The results have been amazing, absolutely 5 stars from me.

After Sales Hopeless

I have had no problems with the testing or the outcome, my hearing aid been fine for the past 4 years. What is lacking is the after sales. Their telephone line ring forever with the usual "experiencing of many customers" how unusual is that? They never answer.
Their help email never answers either. What is more their web site is in place for those with a degree in brain surgery, one has to go through such a complicated degree of answers that by the time one gets to the end and it asks questions which one simply does not have, such as registration and other types of questions one just gives up. This side of their business needs as shake up.

£3000 and my hearing is marginally…

£3000 and my hearing is marginally better. One of my hearing aids failed and I was given an appointment in 3weeks. My husband says it’s the worst £3000 we have ever spent! Don’t do it!

Varsha my consultant was very professional kind and understanding. I felt very relaxed throughout the whole procedure. A lot of care and attention is given to you to make sure everything is as good as it can be. I would definitely recommend boots hearing care 5 star 🌟

Seating

Great appointment with Hannah today( Hearing care) , but what i was not happy with was the seating, they are wooden, hard, and very uncomfortable. Where you spend 30 minutes to an hour within your appointment it would be nice to have seats that are comfortable.

Extremely nice

Extremely nice, polite and helpful lady saw me through what was for me quite a traumatic time. Happy with what I brought and I’m sure it will help me in years to come

Cancelled Appointments

I represent my uncle who has dementia was initially given a date in November for a review of his hearing and continued use of hearing aids provided by Boots. However, the appointment was cancelled and rescheduled for January, but this and subsequent appointments were also cancelled without providing an explanation. I went into the Fareham branch to cancel all future appointments as my uncle gets very confused with the continuous cancellations by Boots. I’ve therefore has chosen to use another provider.

Excellent service throughout. Hannah has been thoughtful, patient and most helpful with her measured advice and guidance throughout the months of the selection and fitting/tuning process. She is an absolute credit to Boots.
