I would like to leave a review regarding my experiance at the Boots hearing centre Newmarket Suffok.
I have been a Boots hearing customer for 10 or so years and usually have Phonak hearing aids .
I have always found the staff over the years very knowledgeable, very helpful and friendly and patient.
My recent visits to Boots hearing i have been looked after by Varsha she is all of the comments i have mentioned above. I cannot praise her enough for the help and guidance and assistance she has given me.
The main thing is the after sales service which i think is brilliant if i do have a problem i can rest assured it will be dealt with. You only get what you pay for at the end of the day. So if you live in the Newmarket area make a appointment to go and see Varsha for an appointment i guarantee you will not be dissapointed

Best thing I have done in a long time
Was not sure I wanted to comment to a pair of hearing aids. But after having a pair set up and offered to go for a walk around the town and went in a coffee shop that was busy. And the difference was outstanding. Could the staff asking what I would like and hear people around me. No going back. Love them.

Excellent audiologist
Excellent audiologist. Very helpful and encouraging with a problem relating to materials hearing aids are made of. Patient and very clear in her explanations. I learnt a lot and felt more confident about

The therapist who did my assessment was excellent.
The therapist who did my assessment and fitting was excellent. She explained each process clearly and I have the aids suitable for my personal needs. The room where the assessment was made was clean and comfortable. I could easily see readings on the computer screens as the assessment was progressing.
However the back up service managing appointments and payment is very disorganised. I had my appointment changed numerous times and was even given one in the wrong town.
I felt that the therapist was let down by the overall management system.
Fortunately I have an email address to contact my therapist should I require further help.

Only vague pricing of aids on web site
Only vague pricing on web site. Your rival give clear price s of the various aids they have available.
From £3995 was off putting and unclear so no sale.

Newmarket saved the day
The original booking at Bury St Edmunds was a disaster but Newmarket saved the day.

Audiologist excellent, appointment time too short, instructions book weak
The audiologist was excellent but appointment too short to allow time for all questions to be answered.
It’s early days but a better instructions booklet (model specific) to refer back to should be provided.
Note I have only had these hearing aids for 4 days

As an initial appointment for a fitting…
As an initial appointment for a fitting of the purchase it went well, I don't get my hearing aid until the 5th of September when a full fitting will take place.
