Overall pleased but aftercare appointment slow
Very good service at Boots Hearingcare with Sara. Had been frustrated that I had to wait 2 weeks to get a follow up appointment to understand all the instructions in the hearing aid guide.

Utterly useless
I made an appointment for a hearing test: they cancelled it two days before it was due and rebooked it for a date I couldn't manage. I had to phone up and make another appointment, which they cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. I phoned them again and made a new appointment for the following week and they cancelled that one with less than two hours notice.
Three appointments cancelled at short notice, but the appointment is still needed and they have been utterly useless.

Fitting appointment with audiologist
Very careful, thorough explanations of what to expect from new hearing aids, how to fit and look after them, follow-up process, adjustment period etc. I felt the audiologist wanted to get the new hearing aids right and ensure I was as happy with them as I could be, and was keen to put in time and effort to achieve that.

I have been very well looked after by my audiologist. She is extremely receptive when I ask questions, and she explains each step very fully and clearly. She has made me feel welcome and she clearly wants to make sure that I am understanding every process. She realises that going through the procedure is rather daunting and even scary for the customer since everything is so new. I actually look forward to the appointments and immediately feel comfortable and supported when I get through the door. I cannot praise her highly enough.
