Excellent service / experienced audiologist who was very clear with her explanations and also knowledgeable.

Melissa at Boots at Winchester was just amazing. Appointments were on time and Melissa’s approach was kind, understanding, considerate, honest and candid. I really appreciated her expertise and kindness as I was initially nervous at my first appointment but was put at ease straight away and felt comfortable to ask questions I needed to ask. Somia Farooq was very welcoming, and spent time answering all our questions. There was no pressure to purchase the hearing aids. The second visit was the following day and a full hearing test was carried out. The following week the hearing aids were fitted and there was an instant reaction to my hearing loss. I am now aware that I did need hearing aids. I am pleased with my top of the range purchase at the moment, and I am also aware that the equivalent aids can be obtained at a lower price elsewhere, but I believe that the Boots service could not be bettered. And my wife is happy with the additional Boots points.

My appointments in Boots in the Winchester High Street took place on January 2, February 15, February 24 and March 10 with Somia Farook. All of these were professional and enlightening.

Ms Farook is a highly proficient staff member who is not only skilful in her work but she is able to share her knowledge who clients. She has also a high-level interpersonal approach and also has gentle humour which I appreciated. I am pleased with my new hearing aids.

In general, during the six years of monitoring appointments, since I first purchased my hearing aids, I have found these regular appointments particularly useful and helpful.

Somia, at winchester, was pleasant, very knowledgeable, patient and very thorough. After the hearing test and her explanation I had a clear understanding of the extent by which my hearing had changed and the way in which the hearing aid helped. she also explained how to clean and maintain the aids in future.

The audiologist was absolutely superb. She was clearly very expert, and knew all her instruments to perfection. She dealt with me really nicely - totally professional yet with warmth and empathy. She was really good on the issues of which hearing aid would best meet my needs. She has secured me as a long time customer.
