A company of Extortion
After my car was paid off with a tracking number to track the check they want to say that it didn't make it in time to them and that's a lie because we put a tracking number on it. Thus they are trying to charge me more money on interest that I shouldn't have to pay. These people are extorting money from America and Americans and they need delt with seriously through a class action lawsuit.
Car Buying Experience
My experience is the same as all the other complaints listed here. I just didn't have the energy to type it. I've never experienced this level of stress behind a car, and I truly wish I never purchased the vehicle.
Predatory lending at best
Predatory lending at best! Car was totaled and was waiting for insurance to pay them. They charged me late fees twice in same month. They state that they assess late fees every 15 days. So yep charge me x2 for late fees in same month. Just don't get loan with them! Stay far away
If I could leave no stars I would
If I could leave no stars I would! DON'T GET YOUR LOAN FROM THEM. Customer service is horrible, they tell blatant lies then charge late fees when there system doesn't work. When you ask to speak to a supervisor, after receiving horrible service the manager is even worse! Having to call every month, getting transferred to rude representatives, is beyond frustrating. I actually had a rep tell me I couldn't make a payment on the app because my account was past due, blatant lie. That makes no sense. Especially because I was told to call back that Monday making my account past due. They will charge you fee after fee after fee.. and tell you the system is down. Horrible!! Don't do it! If you call and reach Tshura, hang up immediately! Worse customer service I have ever received!
Trash company
Trash company, horrible customer service, talk to two people and get 5 answers, and they lost my payment. Twice
Bridgecrest is the worst
Bridgecrest is the worst. They take payments then reverse them days after. They try to collect more payments than agreed upon. The payments are crazy high. Hidden fees I didn't even know about. Literally you can look online, they're constantly going through lawsuits for deceptive practices. I need to find a way to refinance through another company, this is insanely illegal.
I would give them NEGATIVE stars
I would give them NEGATIVE stars! This company is AWFUL!!!! They are a scam, none of the employees are on the same page when you call about information that is right in front of them on a computer screen. One person tells you something, the next tells you completely different. After verifying your information on the phone, you have to continue to verify your information to each and every person! Blasting your information. They do not even send you to higher department to resolve the circus show they created.
Worse company to get a car from they…
Worse company to get a car from they money hungry and takes forever to total your car be careful cause they make there in call with out your consent
Terrible finance company
Terrible finance company. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. One specific employee named Drake who decided to call me at work and make a ridiculous joke about me being held hostage. Sickening.
This company offers no help when a customer needs it most
This company takes money from loyal customers who pay on time for a long time; but when a rough patch hits and you try to get assistance in the form of a skip payment or temporary reduced payments, you get NOTHING except "I can't do that" or "I have no access to help options for you." This will be my first and last piece of business with Bridgecrest.
Horrible company
Horrible company. I bought my car from Drivetime. The loan with Bridgecrest has been horrible. I lost my job for about 6 months. They charged me $13 a day in interest. Even when I wasn't late I would start getting calls the day the payment was due. The car was never any good. I got behind on payments trying to repair car every year something major happened first 3 months of having car brakes and rotors completely gone. Then I had to replace the fuel pump, completely new front end, then the oil started burning off to the point I would have to add a quart of oil almost every two days. Finally, my mechanic said the engine was bad and I needed a new transmission because it was going to break down on me soon. I only had the car 2 1/2 years. I let them come take the piece of crap car in April, 2 weeks ago got a certified letter saying they sold the car for $1700 and I still owed $2000 less than what I paid for it. How is this possible?!?!? Today, I received a call from an old insurance company saying Bridgecrest was attempting to file a claim for an accident that happened to the car in Feb. I haven't had insurance with them since 2024. The dent to that car happened over a year ago in a parking lot and I didn't notice it until I got home.
Horrible Company!
I had my car for 4 years as soon as the first year went by I started having so many issues with the car breaking down had to keep fixing and repairing something on the car and then last year the transmission went out they put a use transmission in so after having it a month after it's doing the same thing it was doing before the transmission went out I called to let them know now they are saying my warranty has expire (how)? They are constantly harassing me about money, I been asking for my contract since I got the car they said I would get it by mail never did every year I call for my contract they say the same thing it been 4 years now!!!
If I could leave zero stars
If I could leave zero stars, I would. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! They are shady, will double charge you, charge you fees and then blatantly tell you it is your fault. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and found horrible reviews. They have ruined people's credit. Some paid off their loan and Bridgecrest reported it as a charge off and ruined their credit. If you purchased your car with Carvana, contact them and file a complaint with an advocate. Write reviews wherever you can, put out the word and unless you have a loan through someone else or are paying cash, don't buy and finance through Carvana. They are amazing, but you get stuck with Bridgecrest.
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE…
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PLANET! I wish I could give them negative stars.
Extremely disappointed with Bridgecrest customer service and lack of accountability.
I sold my car and the buyer sent a payoff check directly to the bank. After waiting for confirmation and receiving none, I had to make a payment from my own checking account to avoid penalties. Since then, I’ve spent over two months following up on a check the bank later acknowledged was endorsed, yet they still say they cannot track it.
Every interaction results in the same response: “There is no update.” Customer service representatives openly say they don’t know and that it’s “not their department,” with no ownership or escalation. I’ve completely hit a wall.
What’s frustrating is the imbalance in urgency — they have no issue promptly taking money from customers, but shows no urgency when it comes to investigating missing payments or refunding overpayments.
Bridgecrest starts calling ONE DAY
Bridgecrest starts calling ONE DAY, yes ONE DAY AFTER a payment is due; even though there’s a grace period allowed! This company is the definition of PREDATORY LENDERS! If I could have a do over, I would NEVER EVER had made this purchase. I am literally paying double what the car is worth. The car is worth a little over $12,000 yet I owe $21,000.
Nothing but rave reviews for them!
I don't understand where the reviews i read are coming from. I've nothing but positive experiences with Brigdecreast and my time with them has been four years now.
I was charged twice once, however they corrected it. I had to have a major repair done to the vehicle being financed which set me back. They came though by moving the payment I missed to the end out the contract, which was a good thing. I guess what I trying to say is: I have nothing but rave reviews for them!
Bridgecrest is the worst lender ever
Bridgecrest is the worst lender ever! They don’t care to help u through a hardship the coustmer service people are rude don’t care! And if ur one day late they call u there’s a 10 day grace period. This is the absolute worst financial company Iv ever seen! They won’t give u a payment deferral when u plea ur reason to them Iv never seen a company not give a crap!!
If I could give 0 stars I would
If I could give 0 stars I would. I called and changed the bank account they were supposed to draft our payment from 2 weeks before payment was due as we opened a new bank account art a new institution. Old account only had $100.00 in it and I was about to close it. They debited the old account and it went negative. When i called customer service they claimed they had no evidence of my call. How convenient for them. I had written down the date of the call & who I spoke with but they claimed that there was no call in their system. I call BS! Our new bank is a credit union. We will now get a car loan from them and pay off Bridgecrest because I refuse to continue doing business with theives!
Wish I would've never got locked in…
Wish I would've never got locked in with these clowns. Made a payment 2 days early, was short $5 in my account. Realized the mistake. Corrected the mistake on the payment due date. Successful payment was made. Still charged extra money. Customer service is a joke. No fee waiver even after a year and a half of on time, successful payments. I can't wait to refinance through someone else.
Want to get robbed for your hard earned money, finance with Bridgecrest.
If you are 15 days late on your payment. 100% of your monthly payment will go to interest this occurs alongside the interest accrual for the following months payment. You can literally create a pattern (not ideal) of being late by 15 days every month for the life of the loan and NEVER pay the principal amount. As an example a $1000 month due date occurs on March 8, you have a pattern of paying the monthly payment on the 23rd of the month, $992 will go to interest and $8 will go to principle. For the life of the loan if the pattern were to continue. Hypothetically, at the term limit (5 years) if you purchased the car for $60k and agreed to $1000 per month and were late at least 15 days a month you would be required to pay a principle balance of $60k on that 5 year mark. You paid $60k penalty by being late every month. So to own your used car that was initially valued around $60k, you could pay $120k+and if you dont have $60k to pay them, welcome to the nightmare that is about to come. Repossession can occur and your vehicle would be sold at auction for its current assessed value AND you will be taken to court for failing to pay the principle balance and your assets will be levied or seized OR a loan extension could occur with continued daily interest rates of $18.69. How this is legal in the US is crazy. You can buy from Carvana if you want to but DONT use their financial institution Bridgecrest. They are HIGHLY predatory. Be VERY careful what you sign.
