Britbox used to be worthwhile but now it is a shadow of its former self. A lot of popular shows have simply vanished, and if you want to see anything new (their definition of that is sometimes 2013)... Voir plus

Have no problems streaming content from Now tv, prime video, iplayer etc but Britbox is terrible. Programmes take ages to load and often tells me I’m not connected to internet when I am and programmes... Voir plus

Cannot view, our money gone

Can't log on because it says our card has expired, so we enter another card number and it says we can't log on because we've got 2 accounts spent hours trying to sort this out, brit box accepted the payment though ffs get it sorted, absolutely crap service, jdez6🤔

Take your money after cancellation!!

Absolutely disgraceful streaming service. Take money out of your bank even after cancelling my subscription and refuse to refund the payment. I would leave minus stars if possible. Do not give these people your details!

Have been waiting for a fix to happen…

Have been waiting for a fix to happen for a Hisense Tv since October 21; constantly emailed by them to say we are looking at the issue etc - but nothing actually gets resolved. Asked for compensation told had to wait for the problem to be fixed before any costs would be reimbursed.
Cancelled the subscription service - the same can be streamed on ITV hub and I Player without the added costs.

App won't allow sign in on Samsung TV. Totally bricked. Shame as some good content. No obvious fix. Around in circles. Life's too short, other streaming services work. Subscription cancelled.

Poor service from Britbox.

I'll make it short as i don't want to waste anymore time with this poor service from Britbox. We have subscribed for a while but with constant having to re login on our account on our firestick, which was very annoying. That never happened to any other of our services. Then we found out our subscription stopped and needed to be renewed so we ignored the renewal message only to find out that Britbox were still taking payments from us. After asking for remittance we were told a flat NO for repayment of a vacant service. Shocking service!!! Go with Netflix, better shows etc on there.

Oh and please Britbox, don't reply back to this. You have failed to give a good service. A fake reassuring reply message would be ridiculous on your part.

Poor service Britbox.

Very poor

There are shows I want to watch, like everyone else I had to log in again but can't get shows to play. I have this as an add on under a phone contract but it is useless just constant buffering. What a shame.

Useless app on Samsung smart TVs

Sad to say I am just about to cancel my subscription. What a pity when there are so many great shows to watch… but I can’t watch them!
Like another reviewer I called both Samsung and Britbox. Both blamed the other. I don’t know who to believe, but neither could get Britbox app to work so no point in continuing with the subscription.
Netflix and Amazon Prime work fine, as do BBC IPlayer and ITV Hub, so my guess is that the fault lies with Britbox.
For over a year the app hasn’t worked on one TV and over time it’s stopped working in the others. I’ve reset the TV, deleted and reinstalled the app, but no luck. I wish it hadn’t worked from day one so that I could have asked for my money back straight away.
I guess it’s all down to updates by either Britbox or Samsung and neither Beta tests it with the other to see if the update is compatible. If they can’t be bothered to get the basics right they don’t deserve my business.

Well worth the six quid a month.

Using roku express to access britbox and it does work very well unless you want to select programs to add to your list and then return to main menu then it just freezes, that why it loses one star.
There is a huge amount of programs to watch on here and as you would expect some of the older programs are grainy but everything plays without any issues.
Well worth the six pounds per month just to have no adverts spoiling the programs.

Don’t waste your money!

Watch this using a fire stick and iPad, it makes you log in every single time and a lot of the time it just brings you back to a page ‘do you want to log out’ NO I DONT! It’s the most infuriating app user experience ever. Not worth paying anything for. Don’t waste your money

If there was a minus 10 star this is…

If there was a minus 10 star this is the rating I would give Britbox. It just doesn’t work - who on earth thought it was a good idea to provide a service that means you have to go through a convoluted process to log in every time you want to view Britbox? I use Sky, Netflix, Prime, Apple and BFI player and have never had any problems accessing their excellent services. Britbox really needs to improve immensely if it wishes to continue in this competitive field.

I am really disappointed

I am really disappointed. I have watched BritBox on my Samsung tv for some time but now it no longer works. I contacted BritBox and they were initially helpful but then said that Samsung had stopped supporting BritBox on my 4 year old tv. I then contacted Samsung who told me that my tv was fine but that BritBox’s latest app update was not compatible with my tv. Ie BritBox are to blame for removing access from my tv. Subscription cancelled.

They don't want my subscription! Endless loops of trying to sign in and reset password. Cannot pay using gpay or card. I think trotters incorporated sold them the app. Such a missed opportunity. Awful

Absolutely rubbish don’t waste your money

Absolutely rubbish don’t waste your money they advertise all these fantastic shows but nothing works it’s always the same message “Can’t play this video please try later” And they charged me for the year up front. When I tried to complain they advise turn the tv on and off. Avoid this channel at all costs complete charlatans the worst TV provider I’ve ever encountered

The Worst Streaming Service Ever

By far the worst, most useless streaming service there is. I really enjoyed them until one of my monthly subscription payments didn't go through. I went to the website to log into my account and update my payment information, but when I clicked on "My Account," the information displayed for about a second and then disappeared, leaving only a blank screen. I went to the home page, followed the prompts to resubscribe, and after I entered my payment information and clicked on "Submit," a message appeared saying that I was already subscribed. I don't have access to any programs. I sent a detailed email to customer service, and received a reply asking me to log out and re-log in to my account, which was ridiculous advice, since I had logged in and out of my account several times with no change. How can a company created by ITV and the BBC be so terrible? Just utter crap.

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful. Could not log in or watch anything for several days. Could not access account to close and was still charged. Avoid this service at all costs.
