I bought a new computer and had to move all files from the old one. It took me a short while to figure out what to do and the migration went well. The new computer took its time organizing everything and nothing was lost. I’m now trying to correct software issues related to old and new versions of Microsoft Office.

I have used Carbonite for backing up my home computer for several years. I continue to be stress free knowing that everything is safe !
I also have had a few occasions where I needed to recover a file and I had no problems with the recovery process.

Have an old computer that dies at the wrong moments. Just recently I overwhelmed the processor and crashed. All files involved were never touched due the Carbonite features. A big "Thank You" is forthcoming. Somehow you have built into Carbonite a feature to reconstruct what was working at the moment of a crash. Again, thanks!

I have had to reclaim data and that was a simple proceedure.
Videos and other file types are not backed up by default and going in to cherry pick is difficult.

Provides good peace of mind. Good customer support.

I like Carbonite, because it saves my documents and I can consult them wherever I am.
But sometimes, it is not user friendly, and I can spend a lot of time finding a feature.
And I wish it could save my memory card extension on my notebook.

+I've had Carbonite for quite a few years and have had to go to their backup site several times. I was able to retrieve most of the documents I was looking for, even though I couldn't remember what some of the were titled. The only thing I'm not crazy about is if the computer crashes, programs have to be reinstalled; they are not available on the backup cloud. I'm certainly glad I have this service!

Carbonite has requested a review with reminders many times. Recently they apologized for bugging me. That's the first time a company has done that and it made me feel a little ashamed in being neglectful. It also reminded me that feedback is really important to you.
In terms of feedback I'm quite satisfied. I assume everything is going along fine because I get periodic reminders of the back ups and I just truck on along.

Carbonite is effective and easy to use.
I do have an error that keeps showing up that I can't get to clear and their technical help hasn't gotten back to me. Fortunately, it isn't an error of not backing files up, but is actually not deleting old files it says it will! Still, it is annoying. Otherwise, I feel confident that all my pictures and important files are backed-up.

To no avail, I have been attempting to get in touch with Carbonite to extend my policy that expires on May 2, 2022. I was able to do that last year without a problem. Carbonite will not be able to use the same credit card as last year's. Please ask Carbonite to assist me on contacting them. I have been a customer of theirs for years and want to make sure that I continue to be one.

I believe it was in 2019 I was looking for a file with my medical information that I couldn't find so I contacted you guys. Recovery was tried and tried and it was never found. It had six months of information on it and it apparently just disappeared. I didn't respond to your survey as I figured you just didn't want to hear my response.

I love the idea that I don’t have to remember to backup everything all the time. Carbonite automatically backs up everything on both my computers at regular intervals and lets me know if it was unable to do so. I took this for granted until my computer failed.

Having lost all my data once in the past, the backup on Carbonite was priceless!! I didn’t lose a thing: no pictures, no documents, nothing. Thanks, Carbonite! I will subscribe to you as long as you are available.
