Carbonite did not let me down when my computer's hard drive crashed a few years back... I cannot imagine how I could have possibly continued running my business if all those thousands of files had been lost. It is SO worth the money to have the peace of mind to know everything is continuously backed up and will be restored in case there is another computer disaster sometime in the future.

I haven't explored alternatives so I'm not sure how carbonite compares. It does seem to take a fair amount of processing power. The only time I tried to restore files (from Desktop) they weren't available. I'm generally pleased with the product.

OneDrive screwed up and Carbonite was a life saver! I highly recommend Carbonite.

Carbonite is for the most part OK. They are big enough to have backup space available for your stuff. Getting the files back can be daunting. They just dump your files into one big bucket and send a good luck card. I'm still trying to find files from my computer crash Also, the one file that cannot be rebuilt was not on their backup list.

I have not really done anything with Carbonite.
it just runs in the background. I trust in you that when I need my files they will be there.

This service saved my files so that I could retrieve them when my computer crashed a couple years ago. I highly recommend Carbonite.

Got message from Carbonite saying that my account hadn't backed up lately, so I logged on and updated Carbonite...in the process I had left a message on whatever they call their virtual assistant. Soon they checked what I had written and informed me the steps I should have taken before reinstalling software. I did that and it works fine. Would have been nice if the process were included in the download instructions. But all's well that ends well.

Carbonite gives me the confidence that my information is safely backed-up and secure in the event of hacking or technical malfunction. My entire system was infected by a hacking virus last year and we lost nothing, THANKS to CARBONITE.

Great Protection For Computers and Laptops, and cell phones. Price is High. But, worth it if you can afford it.

You billed me on 18 January and again on 11 February for the same account. I tried to get someone on your website to help but it is impossible to do so. I disputed the second charge to my credit card

I am happy with the service and I always recommend the service to family and others.

However, I can not remember how many devices are covered by my subscription and I feel it should cover two laptops for the price of what I pay annually.

I had some trouble transferring my files from a broken computer to my new one. called Carbonite and set me up to get my files over the internet, and as a back up I had them send me a hard drive back up of the file.
All went well the first time and I went on my marry way.
Carbonite called a few times to make sure I was OK.
Carbonite has me for LIFE. Out standing people and outstanding company.

This cloud back-up site does what it promises. Easy to navigate and recover files when your PC decides to eat them ! Automatic back-up 24/7. A must have insurance policy.
