I've just received some fantastic customer service from Dave Kelvey at Carmarthen cameras.
I was having a Celestron camera serviced in warranty, and Dave arranged for the camera to be returned to me via royal mail, and I've received my camera the very next day.
first class customer service. well done.

Always an excellent service from Camarthen Cameras. I had an issue with something - they phoned and it was resolved quickly.
Recently, I think I received the fastest delivery ever. The purchase was made one afternoon and it arrived the following morning.

Stinking bad experience with Carmarthen Cameras. They did not inform me that they use pincodes for delivery of items through their courier (in this case DPD). The notice I got of the pincode was not at all timely enough and moronic DPD send the parcel back to Carmarthen before the time I really needed it. Carmarthen neither informed me of their pincode system nor did they do anything to mitigate the disaster. Do not use these clowns.

Carmarthen Cameras had the best price for the camera bag I wanted, but I was too slow and it sold out. I got in touch and they were good enough to hold one back for me when it came back in stock, and then sent it out really quickly- without the ridiculous 'northern Scotland isn't really a part of the UK' surcharge that some other retailers like to add.

I ordered a brand new printer off Amazon - paid for delivery and it turned out Carmarthen Cameras were fulfilling the order.
This was meant to be a Xmas present and it arrived via an eBay box.!
Unsealed Canon parcel on the inside so who knows where this "brand new" order had come from? To add insult to injury - I had to pay to return a parcel I had already paid Amazon Prime for. Sorry for whoever Carmarthen Cameras palms this off to as a "new product" but it clearly wasn't.

Ordered a battery for a wedding shoot on the following week. First of all they despatchedvia dpd needing a pin number which they don't advertise. Supposed to be delivering Saturday Dpd never turned up and returned it back to them. Was promised they'd ensure it got to me on ups instead. I chased them on Friday to be told UPS never despatched it. Absolutely landed me in it and didnt keep their word. Nice people on the phone but avoid buying off them online they're rubbish at it Will never use again

Popped into Carmarthen Cameras with my Sigma lens to ask advice on an issue with the lens hood. The staff member I saw could not have been more helpful and spent quite some time trying to resolve the problem with the hood. Definitely a 5 Star review for a 5 star store. Thank you!

Rang to order Lens Adapter and although they didn't stock item were very happy to spend lots of tme with me and give advice on what I needed and how to get it.

In contrast to Elliott Gooch's experience I ordered a camera lens, tried it out and decided it wasn't for me and returned it and was given a full refund. They seem to have great prices, carry a good range of products (this was a Viltrox lens) and have very good customer service.

Avoid at all costs, order a drone for £4299, after finding a better price (over £300 cheaper) sent the drone back for a refund (through Amazon) had only open the box to look at it never powered in or used etc, shops decided they would only refund 50% because I’d opened the box. That 1pence bit of tape which affected the item and packaging 0% they wanted to claim a restock fee of over £2100! This company operate as a scam. Do not buy anything from them.

My recent dealings with Carmarthen Cameras has been nothing short of exceptional. Having purchased the item it unfortunately arrived damaged, there was no way the business, without opening the product prior to dispatch could have known this. From here on in is where their excellent customer service excels and shines through.
My query was dealt with by Tim, Tim responded immediately to my issue and after a couple of personalised emails (not your usual robotic emails that you tend to receive from larger companies) a replacement product was sent and I was provided with the simple means and method to return the damaged product.
My dealings with Tim highlights that not only is he a true gentleman but Carmarthen Cameras operates with true honesty and integrity that can easily be lost in todays business. I should know given I manage a Shopping Centre, so full credit to Tim and Carmarthen Cameras!

Excellent service - really quick delivery... I ordered late Friday afternoon & the camera arrived via secure courier on Sunday. As it turned out, the camera files were not compatible with my antiquated workflow, I contacted the shop & they graciously agreed to take the camera back.

Over the last few years I have used Carmarthen Cameras for a number of purchases and always get first class service and advice. Most recent dealings have been with Nikita and Tim, both of whom are friendly, helpful and professional. Recently purchased a new camera and handgrip bit found the grip not to my liking. Emailed to request return on day one, sent item on day two, refunded on day three (thanks Lesley). The measure of good customer service is how you get treated if you have a problem and this company does it superbly. Thanks

Ordered a Nikon lens advertised in excellent condition and I wasn't disappointed. Boxed, mint as described.

Delivery was also very quick. Package was well protected in bubble wrap.
