They changed their mind a no. of times on the value of the house. Communication was appalling. Viewings appeared not to be followed up. Staff changed with the wind. We would not recommend this business at all.The date of experience is when we first unfortunately chose them as a sole selling agent.

Chris at Chancellors Windsor tried hard to arrange access for a few viewings and suggested a relevant alternative. He is proactive with a professional and approachable attitude.

Went into Chancellor’s to register my interest in looking at properties in Windsor, and was greeted by Christopher Close. Chris was very helpful and suggested some lovely properties on the spot, and was quick to follow up after our meeting with details on properties we had discussed as well as some others (when many other real estate agents I spoke to the same day haven’t contacted me at all since). He has been proactive in keeping me informed on any new properties he comes across that I might be interested in and is generally very friendly and helpful!

My solicitor and I are pushing hard to exchange today as is the last date to complete prior to the stamp duty going up on 1st April: my solicitor and the vendor have both been amazing and proactive however there is little or no help from the Chancellors Sales Progressor or their panel solicitors who have got an ‘out of office due to annual leave’ auto reply. No notification of who is managing her cases in her absence. Very disappointed all round.

I contacted Hazem to ask for support in finding a suitable rent for me and my family. I received all the information in a timely manner, he made everything clear and provided brilliant support for this stressful period of our life. My wife and I were looking for a short term rental property to stay in, following the sale of our house, whilst we found a new property to move to. We found a property through Chancellors and were shown around the property by Hazem. The viewing and transaction through the reference process to agreement of the tenancy agreement, were conducted professionally and I had a contact for each step.

I was a prospective first time buyer with Chancellors but they made my experience stressful and with no support/guidance. I received little to no communication from them, and the times they did communicate, it was to ask me questions of things they themselves were due to arrange. It felt like they had no idea what was going on, despite them being the ones arranging the sale of the property. It felt like the blind leading the blind.
When I went to the Windsor branch to express my concerns, I was told I would received a call from the Regional Manager later that day or by the Monday morning latest - to this day, the call hasn't happened. This for me solidified all of my concerns. As a result, I ended up pulling out of the sale.
Considering, they were aware of my concerns and thoughts about pulling out of the sale, I would have expected at least a call to discuss what they could do to try and keep me as a customer. Again, no such conversation ever happened.
Throughout the whole process, it felt very much like a sale placed on the back-burner, providing no support especially for a first time buyer, which ultimately has tainted my whole experience in the search for a property.

Update on unprofessional conduct reviews.
People have asked me if there has been any contact from the Directors after my previous posts about the appalling unprofessional conduct of the Windsor letting manager and the lack of robust review of the senior team. The fact that they continue to blatantly go against the lease of the apartments and are still renting to an Airbnb host. The continued threats to security and general unprofessional behaviour.
Still nothing.
I do hope this review and the others helps people gain a whole perspective of the lack of professional conduct.
Again the Sales Manager was lovely. It's the Lettings Manager and senior team.

Hazem Roushdy has been the kindest most patient support through a very fraught sale fall through after 8 months and preparing for rental and now back to sale. He has guided my decisions and reassured me when I was losing confidence about which way to go. His professionalism with a friendly approach has been unwavering and kind but providing guidance which has been in my best interests even when that conflicted with his. I would unquestioningly recommend him to anyone who wants the best service and good sound advice. I am grateful to him for going above and beyond.

Hazem Roushdy MARLA has just been amazing throughout this experience of getting things done, finding the right solutions when things were challenging, and facilitating great communication as I now happily collect the keys to my much needed home. I have had a stressful time these months trying to get things arranged with this housing, but Hazem really was perfect, attentive and highly professional making this problem more of the joy it should be rather than a difficult experience. Hazem is very polite and helpful. He visited us at home as my wife was not well to go to Chancellors office. He provided the relevant information and dealt with the rental very efficiently. He kept us updated with the developments throughout the rental process. Overall we are are very happy ans satisfied with the service provided by Hazem and we will definitely use Chancellors again.

I have been renting for 20 years and have used half a dozen estate agents over that time in different areas of the country. Chancellors is by far the worst I have ever experienced. By a long way.
Initial lettings manager was unresponsive and had to be chased constantly. We found out after we had moved in he was also dishonest on several points. For about 3 months after our initial enquiry we were hounded by the sales team via their chase list enquiring if our old property was for sale, even after several explanations of the fact we had just moved from a rental property.
Finally the property maintenance team are sketchy at best. Literally taking months to reply to things and either dishonest as well or severely mis-informed.
Avoid this agency if you can.

Michelle has been very good at keeping us informed and chasing. When she has not been there the service has been acceptable at best. Phones often not answered.
Michelle was very kind and supportive when mum passed away. Always acted in our interests, as it should be
