Cheapacampa Avis 

Rented a Mercedes RV out of Queenstown from this company. The general decor of the van stank this an old folks home and the equipment was equally tired with chipped mugs, broken utensils and staining and chipped surfaces everywhere. We were tired from journeying from the UK and didn’t ’wake’ to these matters until we were stopped the first night. The other aspect which infuriated the 2 of us was the lazy preparation from staff who knew we were 2 persons booking a large 4-6 berth but still they burdened us with 2 additional and unnecessary duvets, pillows and sheets.
The one saving graze was the quality of the Mercedes engine, which despite its age drove like a dream around the fantastic but sometimes challenging roads of the South Island.
