Chiltern Oak Furniture Avis 

Ordered some bedroom furniture, 2 beds and 2x chest of drawers in February this year. 6 months later one of the beds headboards is really loose and the bed is wobbly. We’ve tried to fix but to no avail. I emailed the company twice explaining my issue with the bed as it will soon collapse but I’ve had no reply at all. I know it’s a few months later that I have the problem but the bed should last longer than that! Delivery etc was great and on time with good communication but after sales is awful. We will never buy from them again. Be careful.

Order placed 1 August. Heard nothing. No delivery date given. Raised query with customer services. No response.
Raised challenge with credit card company as by then I had read reviews and thought I had been scammed.
Items were delivered 1 September out of the blue! But the quality is awful. Now I have to work out how to return said items when dealing with a completely unresponsive company! Might just donate them to charity, if they will take them (the finish is really bad!!). Shame I can’t upload photos on here!

I bought a sideboard from them online a month ago. Two failed delivery attempts (one was cancelled for no reason, and the other one came without my order) and I still didn't get my furniture. I am now starting to think this company is a scam.

Would have been zero but not scaled low enough. Loved the furniture, we chose a d paid upfront in person. Suite delivered from stock early March 24. All OK, But, quoted 12 weeks delivery for dining set. Never arrived and after 18 weeks with lies, promises and contradicting information including being stuck in the SUEZ CANAL for the delay. ha ha that was 2 or more years ago, went back in person, demanded a refund, got them to email this had been agreed before leaving, and this was paid back into bank last week. Worrying to see earlier comments that thay were in administration. Guess they sold our dining set several times over.

Positive online experience, ordered a table and 4 chairs. They were delivered in the time frame and I love my new furniture!

Purchased a table and chair set online, very reasonable price with free delivery to Glasgow. Quick delivery and great furniture.

Ordered a TV Unit online last week. Item arrived in 3 days which was quicker than the advertised lead-time. Can't fault the product or speed of service, will be back for more.

After supplying staff to help with their new showrooms opening they refused to pay my invoices . They then agreed a payment plan which they didn’t pay . They have now gone into administration ignored my emails and left my small business owed £6000 . Gordon caddy is nothing short of a liar and a thief !

I also have paid for furniture.They actually sold the one that they were holding for me before I even got to the store to pick it up.
This had fully paid for beforehand.It also has just been confirmed to me that they are going into administration so it's doubtful that I will get my money back.PLease please don't order anything from there.You will not get it and won't get a refund.They are still trading and taking orders from people which i suspect they will not be able to fulfil
How can you be allowed to trade if you don't even have enough money to be able to give refunds.This is totally wrong !!
Apparently this is the norm for current owner who has had 3 companies that were all dissolved.

Looks amazing and great layout and very spacious.
The furniture is top quality at great prices.
The staff were ever so helpful approachable
I look forward to receiving my order and coming back.

Visited the store recently for a table and found the staff really friendly and helpful with my questions. Ordered a table and chair set that arrived this week and the delivery lads were very chatty and accommodating with moving the items into my dining room. Thank you for such an easy and smooth transaction, I will be back very soon.

Ordered a bedroom set which is lovely, the delivery process was super quick and smooth. I would highly recommend using them for amazing furniture will 100% be using again.

Visited the Rushden store recently with my wife as we looked for a new dining table and bed for the master bedroom. Very helpful staff, great prices and a lot of stock to browse. Very impressed.

Beautiful shop much bigger than it looks from the outside. Had a visit yesterday and it’s like an Aladdin's cave! Helpful staff too 👍🏻

This company has gone broke and are refusing to refund everyone yet are still trading???? Make it make sense! If you can't afford to give a refund, then you shouldn't be in trade. Pathetic. Do not buy from these. Cheap products and cheap people.

Ordered a dining table online on 9th April 2024.
Order confirmation,allow 36 working hours for delivery.Emailed them on 12th April,to be told item out of stock.Expected stock in Mid May.Emailed again 28th May,as had no correspondence regarding order,only to be told stock expected end of June.Then had email to say that he company behind them had gone into administration.Asked for a refund,they refused and said I had to contact my card issuer for refund.What a way to treat customers,taking their money, but not prepared to refund if there is a problem.No communication,unless contacted by customer.

I'm owed a £1400 refund and trying to recover via bank. They are in administration (they have admitted via an email to me) and are still trading despite this happening 9th May 2024. Disgraceful. So please be aware.

They have blocked me from social media - I have tried to warn other potential customers. They are in Administration. Do not purchase because you will NOT get a refund if you decide to change your mind like me (I have no goods and I am down £1400).

Please do not buy from them. They own me money 400£ for return which they said they will not pay as they do not have access to their funds. Scam❗❗❗

£2000 pound worth of bedroom furniture ordered. It was supposed to be black. Rang to make sure before I ordered. It turned up Blue! Some items never turned up. Rang them straight away and complained about colour and missing bedside table. Took two weeks of hassle to arrange a collection. They said they'd refund after they'd checked the furniture. Two days later told I would NOT receive a refund as they have no money left and are going into administration! They should have said and I'd have kept the furniture to try and recoup some of my money. Now £2000 down and trying to recover via bank. Awful company who are still trading despite this happening 9th May 2024!!! BEWARE

Update, they have blocked me from social media and my account has been deleted from their website. They are in Administration. Do not purchase because you will NOT get a refund if you return your goods!
