I used China Travel to book train tickets from Hong Kong to Beijing. They then offered to set up a private tour for us in Beijing. Annie helped us out and was fantastic. Our tour guide Lily was fantastic as well.

Sarah Zhou, our passionate tour guide who loves pandas, was amazing. She coordinated our trip in Chengdu. She is both friendly and knowledgeable. We shared lots of stories and good laughs.

Sarah was an excellent guide. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Chengdu and was providing useful information to us. Very personable and easy to work with. Her command of English was excellent and very fluent. We had her as a guide from Dec 9-14. Highly recommended!

We had a 10 days tour of Beijing, Xian, Zhangjiajie and Shanghai. The whole was well coordinated without any hiccups of transfer between cities. All four guides are knowledgeable , caring , friendly and patience. Coco, our Zhangjiajie guide is especially caring paying attention to our safety as there are alot of walking and climbing of stairs . The ground was slippery as it happened to be raining when we were at the top of mountain. The hotels are located at good and convenient locations.

Well organised short tour. we crammed a lot in over 3 days. Sylvia was an excellent tour guide and fountain of knowledge. it's our second tour with China Travel.

We had a short time in Guanxi and I needed an efficient plan. The team at China Highlights were great, always responsive, helpful and even adapted the tour to best suit our plan. Truly a great experience, will definitely use them for my next trip in China.

We did an extensive tour of China over 4 weeks and found Vivi and China Highlights to be an excellent tour guide and logistics company. All our guides were excellent both knowledgeable and able to navigate us around without fuss. The staff tried very hard to please and make our experience memorable. Vivi did a great job as our tour manager overall and they were responsive and flexible with changes. As an English speaking tourist in China I would highly recommend.

Great tours of chongqing and nearby places. Very organize , good communication from the china travel representatives upon booking and until the end of the tour. everything went well smoothly. Our guide alice is kind , patient and accommodating . We will book again

I had two tours in different cities. Both guides (Cecilia and Campbell) did excellent jobs. They were very knowledgable with the areas, answered many questions, flexible on when and what we saw, were able to help with special requests (such as needing to purchase an extra luggage for cheap) and answer questions on how to navigate China. Based on my experience, I plan to return to China and I would work with them and China Travel again. Also, my dedicated car and driver in each city were very safe and patient, clean new cars with amenities, and very courteous. Finally, for any English-speaking customer, language skills were excellent.

This was our second trip in the hands of China Travel. That says it all! China Travel make travelling in China so easy, everything was seamless, from great city guides to fast train tickets. They truly understood our interests in art and culture and made wonderful suggestions on what to see. Vanessa Cheng and her team are highly recommended.

We have just returned from a fabulous fun packed 14-day Shanghai-Xi’an-Beijing tour in China. Our group consisted of 7 from the United States. Three visited for the first time other four been to China for more than one time.
Our tour organizer, Vanessa Zheng was very patient and nice. She was able to accommodate every one of requests and fit nicely into our very busy, well-balanced 14-day program.
Our tour guides, Kenny in Shanghai, Crystal in Xi’an and Mark were very caring, very knowledgeable and experienced. Especially Crystal who cared for my wife (recovering from hip replacement surgery) liked a member of her family.
The Legend of Camel Bell Show, Tang Dynasty Show in Xi’an and the Yuxiandu Royal Cuisine Museum Show in Beijing were fabulous!!

Eric led us to visit Dujiangyan Panda Base and Dujiangyan Panda Valley in one day trip. With combine visiting these two panda camps, we can spend time with our own pace to observe the giant panda and red panda without flighting with huge crowd. Again we thank Eric to make our dreams fulfilled.

I had such a great day with Lee! He was my guide for the Panda Base tour in Chengdu and made the whole experience even more special. Super friendly, funny, and full of interesting stories about the pandas and local life. He also helped me take some amazing photos and gave great tips for places to eat afterward.
If you’re visiting Chengdu, definitely ask for Lee — he’s one of those guides who truly loves what he does and makes you feel like you’re exploring with a friend.

We had a great experience using the services of China Highlights during our recent holiday. Annie organised all our train tickets and kept us up to date with all the arrangements. Despite it being Golden Week, a very busy national holiday period, she managed to secure us tickets for all the journeys we wanted to take. She also organised a day trip from Datong for us with a wonderful and knowledgeable guide, Rita. I would definitely recommend China Highlights to others.
