Clarkes' Golf Avis 

Bought some new but older model clubs online. 5-pw. Paid extra to get quick delivery as wanted to use them a couple of days later.

They arrived but half the clubs were missing. Rang them and sent an email with what was delivered.

They believe the issue was with the delivery company but offered either a replacement set, but with different shaft stiffness or wait for ping to send replacements. I asked how long that would be and he said he would need to speak to them but would find out quickly. I asked him to ring me back which was expected to be that day so I could make a decision.

I heard nothing and so contacted them but no response that day. They rang the next day and as it wasn’t so clear when ping would be able to replace I decided to go for the stiff shaft set.

They arranged collection and re delivery which was good and offered a box of balls in compensation which I accepted.

The new clubs came and were all there. The box of balls offered was nowhere to be seen. I contacted them again and made them aware of that but heard nothing back.

So overall a bit of a mess. I have spent hundreds of pounds and ended up with some clubs in a spec I didn’t ideally want, I got them later than the extra I paid for and the compensation promised never materialised.

If I take on face value the delivery issue to be out of their control. The lack of responsiveness and not following through on the offer of compensation was still pretty disappointing. In hindsight I should probably have cut my losses at the start and got a refund.

Update - as a consequence of this review Clarke’s have been in touch, apologised and sent both the balls and refunded my express delivery cost, which is appreciated.

Ordered some new shoes and they were delivered within 48hrs.... top service

Cannot recommend highly enough, fantastic service, great price and there on the phone to help when you need them.

I have just taken delivery of a second Powakaddy trolley after sending back the first as it wasn't the model I was expecting. The customer service I experienced (Owen in particular) was superb in sorting out the problem. Mistakes happen but the mark of the company is in the way it deals with them. Clarkes were excellent. I'd definitely use them again. You should too.

I was looking for a Taylormade Spider X putter and Clarkes' Golf was one of the, very few, companies to have what I wanted. Having never heard of them before, I did some research via Trustpilot and was satisfied that they were genuine. I then phoned them regarding the item to check spec. Very friendly and helpful advice. Item ordered on-line and paid. Communication from start to finish was first class, price was very competitive and item spot on when it arrived, on the day they said it would be delivered. Very good throughout.

Went above and beyond, missed the last weekend delivery slot so they drove it to PDP so i could get it next day. Will use Clarkes for all my future needs with great customer service like that.

Fast delivery, good pricing, already enjoying using the Garmin golf watch.

I made an order on a Tuesday morning for a PING fairway wood, and I was striking it off the fairway on Wednesday afternoon.
Absolute superb service

I ordered a set of Ping G400 Irons and they were delivered about 2 weeks ago. Due to lock down I could not get them fitted prior to my purchase. I took the standard blue dot and, after playing 5 rounds with them went for the fitting today.
I would highly recommend having your clubs fitted by Andy. His knowledge, professionalism and ability to communicate the technical aspects of the product, to a lay person such as myself, were second to none.
It was a really enjoyable and informative 45 minutes well spent, as I learnt a lot about the specifications and why it was right for me. It left me with confidence in my purchase, which will hopefully have a positive impact on my game.
Thanks again for that tip to improve my game further and, if I need a lesson, will definitely give you a call.

Used Clarke's for two purchases now and both interactions have been excellent. Clear expectations around delivery timescales for custom made equipment and the last one turned up much quicker than advised. Best prices in the UK guaranteed and I got a free dozen balls with my driver. I will be using them again when I upgrade my irons hopefully next month and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the dozen pro v1s are still available.

Absolutely brilliant customer service.
After returning an item due to it being too big, the parcel got lost and i didn't receive my refund or replacement. After emailing the company they helped and replaced the item even without me having a tracking number.

I was let down by another online retailer who took my order and then informed me two weeks later they could not get the item.
I researched further and found Clarke's golf onine. I used the chat tool on the website to establish if the item was in stock. They quickly informed it was, and I ordered immediately. The item (a Taylor Made stand bag) arrived two days later by DPD delivery.
