The Co-op were outstanding throughout…
The Co-op were outstanding throughout the whole process. When they took my Mother from our home they even took time to make her bed. It's small things like those that really matter and say so much. The staff at the office were great too and showed so much care. Finally, they are also very reasonable. A friend of mine paid around £4000 for a very similar service but Co-op charged just over £1500 for a direct cremation. Once again, thank you to the team at the Co-op.

Excellent service from Michael…
Excellent service from Michael McCormack who was not only totally professional, but also compassionate and considerate in all his dealings and communication. It was such a relief to deal with someone so genuinely human - it makes all the difference during a difficult and emotional process. He also kept us up to date and was very proactive so that there was no need for us to chase up anything. When I needed an additional copy of a certificate, he obtained it for me, which helped avoid a delay. I can highly recommend the Co-Op and Michael in particular.

Michael McCormack was excellent, and caring.
Michael McCormack was my Case Manager. He was excellent, very compassionate, helpful and really helped me. I found the process upsetting because of grief, but I can honestly say Michael really made me feel safe to say this. I highly recommend Michael and Co-Op funeral services and legal services. I struggled at first to get started with the session but once it got going it was fine.
It was straight forward and sorted promptly and I actually enjoyed discussing things that are important to me. I’d recommend this service to anybody.

Very rushed and unprofessional all they are interested in is taking your money, no aftercare what so ever. We had a question after and never received a response, I'm sure we would of if we hadn't of paid the £2k already, the advisor was 30mins late for the appointment.

Renewing My Will
I contacted the Co-op to renew my Will. I rang and a few details were taken over the phone and an appointment made for that same evening. A link was sent for a Teams meeting. Joshua L was very friendly and helpful and talked me through the process. He took all my details, discussed the best options for leaving my estate to my family and explained the next steps. Joshua was very knowledgeable and made the whole process very easy and I felt very comfortable with him.

Slack follow up
Very good in the initial sales phase, but then having taken the £000s for the will to be prepared, very slack, inefficient, and taking too long to respond to queries, sometimes not responding at all. Seems everything is outsourced to 3rd parties once the initial sales process is complete and the follow up is very slack and impersonal.
