I have been a member of Consumer Pulse for many years and suddenly I was not allowed to login. No explanation!
It wasn’t until I came on Trustpilot that I found out the reason. I’ve emailed Consumer Pulse so many times - often ignored and occasionally told they are looking into it. Wouldn’t it have been polite for them just to say YOU ARE NOW TOO OLD FOR US TO BE INTERESTED IN YOUR SPENDING HABITS OR YOUR OPINIONS

I was a member for a few years, when suddenly last year, I couldn't login to my account, then after I emailed. I got a reply saying that I'm no longer in the demographic. It would have been nice to have been informed and not having to chase them down. I lost over £100+ in credit/vouchers. I was told to contact the reward line but I explained I work a weird shift pattern, so I can never call it.
They looked into it, but only replied once I left a review here, they now state. They closed my account, but they fail to tell you at the time you have 8 weeks to redeem the points. So basically, tough luck. I wonder how many people have had their account closed, no explanation and unless you approach them, they won't bother telling you why. AVOID, DONT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME!!!!!

I've thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Consumer Pulse "family" but, it seems that, now that I've reached the age of 80, my participation is no longer required.
I queried it with Consumer Pulse and got what was a somewhat patronising response. They also told me I had to "redeem" my points before the end of March 2026 or lose them.
Hmmm - so... if you're over 80 your purchases don't matter. I pointed out to the that I both work part-time and volunteer in my community but... that doesn't seem to matter either.
Oh dear, perhaps I should stop shopping - especially with companies that use Consumer Pulse's "shoppers".

As many people mentioned here and in reddit, out of blue my account was restricted and blocked without any notification with over £90 in points after being a member for few years. Looks like they do it permanently to reduce members and have "free" information from you without payment.

Was a member for many years and then tried to log in and couldn't. Was then told I could no longer participate due to my location I live, this I have no problem with.
What I DO have a problem with is no one told me and I didn't receive any information or confirmation of this and then it was too late to use my points as they had expired.....yet I didn't know my account had been closed. It also took 2 email attempts to get a response as to why I couldn't log in (they had closed my account).
I had about £40 worth of points for giving you my time and information over the last 2+ years and now have nothing for it. Why should people bother when you do things like this.
I wouldn't recommend doing this as I have wasted so much time confirming my purchasing choices for nothing. What a waste of time.
Edit - my panel number is 122620 as requested.

This is a great way to get some vouchers or give to charity by just simply logging things you’ve bought weekly.
I love using Consumer Pulse. It's so easy to log purchases and gain points. The extra surveys then boost your points pot further still. I've been a member for years and the vouchers that I've gained have really helped our family to afford certain items. I've now referred my teenage son so I hope he will make the most of it too.

I really love being a consumer pulse member. You get interesting surveys to complete & can log details of purchases for certain categories to earn reward points which can be exchanged for gift vouchers. It's a really easy way to save for things as it doesn't take long to complete and you can do it when you like

Been with consumerpulse for 20 years. Been very happy since I joined. Surveys don’t take long to do.

They never reply to e-mails. When phoning them you are kept waitng for 20 mins with a dreadful noise that keeps coming and going and a voice that sounds like Mickey Mouse saying your call is important to them. Then it rings through and you are told that all of their agents are busy and to leave a message or send an e-mail. Like I say they don't answer their e-mails. Absolute crap.
So finally got a reply to my email today telling me to phone them. So can't do that as they never answer their phones. Won't help me even though I told them twice now that I've been hacked. Joke of a company. Think I'll have to close my account with them.

I have been a member of Consumer Pulse for many many years however, I have now reached the grand age of 80 and yes, I have been dumped. I was not aware of this policy until just reading it here on trust pilot. Extremely upset to have no warning whatsoever to enable me to spend my points as I wanted. Just told I have eight weeks from receipt of email to spend them and, on ringing them up to speak to them, told I can only use them on B&Q and Argos. So, be warned members, spend your points before you get to 80 or you’ll be told where you can shop with them within eight weeks! Not impressed.
I have used consumer pulse for many years and love how easy it is. However I would like to see more rewards like amazon, PayPal or a supermarket.

I have been a member of Consumer Pulse for many years and have accumulated a six figure sum in points to date.
Trouble is the rewards categories are so limited that I have nowhere to claim and spend my points. I have written to CP about this before and received a rather dismissive response.
I belong to many other survey sites (good and bad) and am able to claim cash/vouchers for all sorts of things; BACS to my bank; to Paypal; various retail outlets; Visa or Tremendous cards - the list goes on.
It is time that CP moved with the times and offered MORE choices.
I have recently learned that when I reach the age of 80 (a while to go yet) I shall be dumped. This is very ageist and our purchasing power and faculties do not disappear at that age. What will happen to all out points at that juncture? I need explanations on these matters please.

After being a member for 16 years, I am now arbitrarily dismissed because of my age.
It may be in your T&C's or FAQ's but what century are you in? In this day and age people are no longer irrelevant because of their age.
Catch up, Consumer Pulse. You are way behind the times.

I've been adding purchases to Consumer Pulse for some years.
My husband and I are avid readers and book collectors. For some reason the "Entertainment" category, under which books apparently fit, has been removed.
Given that that category is pretty much the main one we respond to we were disappointed and asked Consumer Pulse why this had happened. To say that their response was patronising is a serious understatement.
When I tried to email a response to their email my email bounced. Hmmm... perhaps Consumer Pules isn't able to deal with people who ask pertinent questions.

Have been with Consumer Pulse for many years and on going to leave a positive review on Trustpilot, saw for the first time the sad reviews from people who have reached 80 years and been dumped by Consumer Pulse. Maybe they can explain the reasons and what they believe changes when people reach that age. Not sufficient to bleat that it is their terms and conditions, and not provide an explanation why they put an age restriction at that point. Should be ashamed and have just lost me as a panellist.

Like the other recent reviews - been with them for years and points now not updating. No response from their help desk yet (emailed a week ago).
Update: the help team contacted me swiftly and the issue has now been resolved.
