This company was recommended to me by W H Brown estate agents for my house purchase. My experience of them was just appalling from start to finish. I actually pulled out of the purchase on the day I was due to exchange as they sent me the search results showing it was in a high risk flood area on the same day (despite them having had the results for about 7 weeks!). They didn’t even flag it up in their report. It was only because I took the time to read the multitude of documents they sent me at the last minute that I stopped the exchange.

Whether this was incompetence or something more underhand I can’t be sure. However, I would definitely say there was a conflict of interest because of them ‘being in bed’ with the estate agent.

I will definitely not be using them again and will be using a solicitor with no conflict of interest for my future purchase.

This firm ruined my whole buying experience, Misleading information, errors on their end which i had to pay for and left me with a decision on completion day of paying for a mistake they made or face breaching contract. Never ever use these people

Me and my partner have jobs which ask us to travel alot, and the app was perfect for this! Lisa was always a call or an email away and was super helpful with every step and detail. She answered all of my questions, and went above and beyond when we had a slight delay. She took all of my needs on board throughout the whole process. no assistance given with any forms despite asking for help, just told to sort yourself out and then passively aggressively blame you the client for not completing the forms correctly 2 months down the line when 2 days from completion. Told by your case handler to chase estate agents and third party solicitors yourselves. After an complaint we were told that they found their service to be 'reasonable' DO NOT use this company under any circumstances as they believe 'REASONABLE' service to be acceptable

Although I noticed that most reviews are positive, unfortunately had a very uncomfortable experience with this service. My case was handled by Chloe Marshall, and I’m not sure why things went the way she did, but her service was absolutely poor.

There was almost no communication — I would often receive replies to my emails after 5–6 days, and even then, my questions were left unanswered. There was no guidance provided, only a bunch of documents sent without any explanation about which ones I needed to sign or return.

After submitting the documents, I was told that they were filled out incorrectly, even though I corrected and resubmitted them 2–3 times. Still, I received no proper guidance. I had informed her about my mortgage end date, but despite that, I was moved onto a variable interest rate from the lender — which is very high — and I ended up paying it for two months high interest still other side no progress on my application.

In the end, I had to withdraw my Skipton mortgage offer because of the poor handling of my case. She seemed to focus on minor issues and made the process unnecessarily difficult instead of providing help and guidance.

I truly hope that no other client experiences the kind of service I received.

After initiating this company for my conveyancing through my estate agent and being shown a quote which was pricey but acceptable as was part of the same group as the agent and was told it would be more seemless. when the paperwork arrived and logged into the chargeable portal x2 the quote was quite different, they charge multiple times for things done once, simple things like charging for 3 transaction fees when only 2, charging twice for a chancel insurance policy which hasnt been used since henry the 8th was on the thrown, they even charge you twice for the use of thier portal even though its all on one portal login and they claim its a 3rd party portal. just shy of £1000 more expensive than a local and reputable conveyancing solictor. read the paper work closely and buyer beware.

Pretty quick process, Christian Petersen was especially helpful and kept me up to date along the way. First time buyer so cannot really compare to other companies but all in all I was happy with the service.

They take your money and run. Don't give them 5 stars until you have completed the sale or purchase because the solicitors you deal with are below par. They'll come to me a get say they can't find my records and will want the review removed. They put me in touch with Gardner Champion based in Rugeley.
