Please DO NOT buy insurance with them, they don't have any intentions to settle any claims they just keep drag it for unnecessary and sounds very strange. I been made foolish decision by buying insurance with them. I want to give others an opportunity to think about it before you buy and go with well known insurers. If you want to waste your valuable time and explaining for all the stupid questions then this one is very good.

Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs! This is the worst gadget insurance experience I’ve ever had.
I bought a policy for my iPad, but when I tried to make a claim, the process was absurd. The system bombarded me with an insane number of irrelevant questions (it felt like over 10,000 – literally endless and pointless probing). Then, shockingly, they demanded my personal ‘share code’ – a government-issued immigration/right-to-work code that has ZERO relevance to gadget insurance. This is a massive red flag and a clear violation of privacy standards under UK GDPR.
Worse still, right after interacting with them, I started getting bombarded with spam calls from unknown numbers – something that never happened before. It strongly suggests my phone number and other personal data were shared or sold to third parties without consent, which is illegal and unacceptable.
Their aggressive data collection, irrelevant demands, and apparent data mishandling have completely destroyed any trust. I cancelled immediately and will never use or recommend CoverCloud again. If you’re considering them, look elsewhere – your privacy and sanity will thank you.

Our policies are available only to permanent UK residents, and this eligibility requirement is clearly stated during the sales journey and within the policy documentation.
The documentation you provided in support of your claim indicated that you are not a permanent UK resident. In order to confirm eligibility, we therefore requested your UK residency share code. A share code is intended to be provided to authorised organisations such as employers, insurers, and government bodies to verify an individual's right to live, work, or access services in the UK.
As you do not meet the permanent UK residency requirement, we were unable to proceed with your claim. Your policy has been cancelled and a full refund has been issued.
For clarity, we do not share personal data with third parties other than where necessary for the administration of a policy or claim.
