Terrible company
Dac Beachcroft are the insurance company for Asda. An Asda vehicle knocked my front wall down in February and I am still waiting for them to pay out.
They ignore emails and do not return phone calls.
They have excepted liability its just a case of getting them to compensate me for the damage.
Looks like its time to go to a solicitor.
Such a dodgy company
Such a dodgy company. Had issues with our neighbour where he reported we water damaged his house then a year after this reported damage we received a letter from this company. Nobody could tell us what was going on but they were demanding a substantial amount of money. I called to see what was going on and was passed from person to person with no clear answer. The letter was from someone called Elaine who I think may have been a friend of our neighbour trying to intimidate us as a scare tactic. A year on and we’ve heard nothing more. I reported to a fraud team for investigation.
This insurance company cheats
This insurance company cheats, just to avoid having to pay legitimate claims, falsifies documents, influences experts specialists, Who writes reports and has been working together for a long time. I have informed them in several emails that the dates are bad and the specialists wrote opinions on the reports with these dates. Nothing is changed so the documents bundle were filed in court! I rightly draw the attention of everyone who has worked with this company to make sure to review the documents and claim damages retroactively along with the penalty!
Dreadful company
Dreadful company. Claimed I hadn’t paid an invoice 5 months ago. When I proved I had, following nasty threats of debt collectors, got no apology.
refusing to pay agreed claim
Lamona Dishwasher caused alot of damage to a brand new kitchen. Howdens passed the claim to be handled by them but 4 months down the line still not resolved and kitchen work surfaces now starting to crumble. We arranged for a fitter for this bank holiday weekend to do repairs but DAC refusing to pay out money even though they have agreed it. Keep telling us that there " accounts department will pay eventually but are very busy!!!" Told this morning that I would have to pay for a fitter from my own money and hope that DAC pay out. This is just not good enough. Surely if a claim has been agreed by all parties that the money should be paid for repairs.
NOT GREAT
Pursued for an accidebtal damage claim of their client RFU which I feel I had no liability. The claim had already been settled at the time with the policy holder. They took and pursued the case despite it being a full 18 months since the incident and that I had not been given any prior formal communications by NFU.
I feel very dissaponted they forced me to pay a settlement under the threat of legal despite the damage actually being done by my under 16 child, I feel that I presented an honest and fair explanation on my lack of liability to what can only be described as a somewhat legally touch and go case.
