Excellent quality linen and extremely helpful staff. Shoutout to Malcolm who was able to help me with what I’d assumed would be a tricky query - calling me back with the answer within 5 minutes.

It's not explicitly mentioned on their site (probably because they're aware of the reputation) but the courier they use is Evri - you will not receive your fabric on time.

No option for expedited delivery, I'd happily have paid more for DHL or Royal Mail.

Would love to give a helpful review, but I don't have my item yet. Will probably end up buying from elsewhere and returning what I ordered.

I received the fabric so quick, the fabric was a perfect colour, and the quality just perfect for the job

I needed some dabric for a project with a deadline. Local store had none so looked on line. Found the perfect fabric ( weight and construction) at Dalston Mills. Just before I placed the order I rang them to see how prompt they could be with delivery. So lovely to be able yo talk to someone. They explained that I needed to choose carrier for delivery but that they couldn't promise a specific day as once it leaves them it really is dependent on the carrier. I order and it all arrived in less than 48 hours and I was able to meet my deadline. Beautiful quality fabric too.

Dalston Mill went above and beyond to send me my first order of fabric, which I needed urgently, after a previous supplier sent me fabric, that was not as described and was returned. The quality and price were excellent, and all in all, I am very impressed and will definitely order again from Dalston. It was easy to put in my fabric order on their website. My order was delivered relatively quickly and the fabrics arrived in good conditions. I really liked the quality of these fabrics. The fabrics were just perfect for my sewing project - a yoga mat bag!

Having never used this company before I didn't know what to expect.. The fabrics were lovely, the price was affordable as I bought them in the sale and their customer service was spot on .
I ordered three lots of fabric and 2 spools of thread when I received my order I initially thought they had forgotten to pack my thread.
I unravelled two of the cloths and looked inside the package then emailed them.
They answered within a day to appologise and kindly asked if i had checked the folds of the fabric and that is where they are usually wrapped to keep them from getting lost.
I unravelled the last fabric and there they were!!
So I immediately apologised for not looking more thoroughly..I was also nice dealing with real people and not AI
