The Denbury bungalow
We put a deposit on a bungalow in Laxfield, Suffolk as it was perfect for downsizing. Our chain consisted of a renter, our buyer and Denbury. We then missed the exchange and completion dates due to the company that built our property two years ago finally admitting after months that they had provided the wrong information to HMLR therefore the delay in obtaining our title deeds, without them the chain cannot start the legal process.
Obviously more than annoying but a few weeks later Kevin from Denbury emailed to enquire whether or not we had received the Management company pack which we now had along with the Title Deeds and the chain was progressing although we were looking for another suitable bungalow. We were offered the bungalow at the original price and are in the process of purchasing it again, although rather nervously. All looks good with the chain.

Avoid these builders if you can
After buying our first "newbuild" in 2021 I would never recommend this company.
Absolutely shoddy workmanship with all trades., not painted properly, no proper drainage and cut many, many corners on quality just to get finished quickly and get our money.
We had waterlogging and they blamed US for it!!!
Many other owners on different sites had similar issues. How they got a 5* rating beats me.
They promise you the world and all you get is a nightmare once you've completed

In my interaction with Denbury Homes…
In my interaction with Denbury Homes they have shown that they do not value or even care about their customers. Their customer services manager was unwilling to resolve a simple complaint, refused to explain anything, was standoffish and did everything in her power to fob me off and get me to stop interacting - the complete opposite of what makes good customer service. Where is the care, consideration and understanding that they advertise so much? There has been nothing but regret in my dealings with Denbury Homes. Awful homes and awful customer service. Wish I never bothered.

on 31st March they requested more information from me but then never bothered to actually respond. This just highlights how much they do not care, or have no genuine interest in helping their customers. I have never had such an awful experience with any other company. It is actually shameful.
