"Derrose", "Barge Pole" & "Do Not Touch"
"Derrose", "Barge Pole" & "Do Not Touch" are phrases that come to mind !!
The product is "1000X Zoom 1080p Microscope Camera" and the Vendor is "Derrose"
I would give this product and Derrose ZERO Stars if at all possible for not only this product but also their incompetent and ignorant Customer Services.
I bought 2 of these and quite apart from the instructions which were is a mix of Chinese & some sort of English - There was zero decent installation instructions. Eventually I found a tiny sentence that stated "2. Install the software: Please login to "http:&"//soft" &."hvscam" & ".com" to download, select and open the icon HiViewSetup.exe, then click Next ----Receive----Install----Finish". At this latest point my McAfee erupted stating that it had just killed "A Very Nasty Virus".
The next stage of my problem was that I contacted Derrose Customer Services and had a series of increasing aggravating email conversations ranging from me describing the problem and the CS Agent asking what I meant by a "serious virus" - maybe she thought it was Flu, Ebola or some other Plague like Bubonic or Black Death. Despite explanations about the seriousness of the problem that a 3 year old would probably understand she finally stated that if I didn't want the product AND it was at least US$20 to return it - maybe I would like to give the items to my family or friends !!!!!! Talk about having an incompetent and useless CS Department !!!!
So now I am lumbered with a product I have no faith in and still no idea how to make it work !!!
In conclusion I would not recommend anyone in the whole wide world to even contemplate dealing with Derrose as in my mind they are absolute Charlatans.
