Card was closed in November (date of…

Card was closed in November (date of experience is a guess as I can't remember the exact date) despite being on autopay and I can't make payments. The letter I received said it was due to they were no longer using or issuing my type of card or something like that. I've tried making payments (was on auto-pay until they closed my card in November) and when I couldn't access the app, I tried email to which I never got a response. I tried making a payment again this month thinking their app was just experiencing problems before finding out that their website is also completely gone when I tried to pay that way.
My card also no longer appears on my credit report which has me very nervous about what Deserve is up to. How am I supposed to continue making payments if they 1, won't respond to emails 2, their app AND 3, their website is completely gone/shut down?!
Also, they have my address which is clear by the letter I received in November (I think it was November), so how come they aren't sending me bills by mail and a way to pay by mail? I still use checks, so I can easily send them checks.
This is highly unprofessional and I'm inclined to believe the rumors that Deserve was a scam despite the fact that I never had ANY problems up until they decided to close my card in November and the subsequent months I couldn't make a payment anywhere. How am I supposed to pay, Deserve? Hm? This is ridiculous.

Phone service is god awful

Customer service is god awful, they've got their phone-tree employees in a tin shack with concrete floors it sounds like and you can hear /every/ conversation going on through their end. APR is high asf but it's the first credit card I got out of high school with no credit so it's done its purpose well as far as I'm concerned.

Genuinely awful company

Genuinely awful company, they send no notification about a card expiring and you have to request your new card - only for it to get lost in the mail twice. horrific customer service. Just cancelled my account and I’m thrilled. DO NOT use this company.

I have had a horrible experience with…

I have had a horrible experience with Deserve AMC credit card customer service. I was approved for this card on 8/23/24 and in the midst of using my card over that weekend I kept getting random declines. I would call in and they offered to replace the card. I used the card that they allow you to add to Apple wallet to make a purchase. That Monday 8/26 my card was blocked and they requested bank statements and drivers license. I submitted it immediately. My account remained blocked until September 3rd when my account was randomly closed siting unable to verify identity. Which isn’t true because on August 23rd Deserve called me to verify my identity before even approving me for the card. I spoke to customer service numerous times and they were basically useless and did not have answers to anything. I spoke with a tier 1 supervisor name Akash who stated that he closed my account and laughed about it and was very very rude and unprofessional and rebutted everything I asked him. I reached out to the CEO on Twitter who responded but haven’t heard back from I’m since. This company had bad and unethical business practices and no allow a tier 1 supervisor do something so malicious is downright wrong! I have escalated to Celtic Bank their sponsor bank and the CFPB and Federal Reserve. Deserve needs to be investigated. They also lie and say they have way to escalate up beyond a supervisor so my issue doesn’t go further. Terrible business practices and customer service lacks the tools and knowledge and theirs a bad language barrier as they are in India.

I have several issues with Deserve

I have several issues with Deserve, but I will refrain from 'going off on them', and just talk about their mobile app. I can't really comment on the apps content because I have never been able to access it. To log in to it, you have to enter your birth date, but you cannot manually enter it, a dropdown calendar appears and, in my case, I would have to press the back button 672 times, no typo, six hundred and seventy two times. I've tried to find a way around it but there is none. I've complained about this on three separate occasions to no avail. Bottom line, we deserve better.

I need to access my account but I never get the verification code they send and nobody answers customer support emails. The phone number for customer support does not even connect. I used to be able to log in with email but apparenty that feature is gone. Deserve always disappoints me

worst credit card ever

worst credit card ever, stay away. They closed my account without any notice and I lost 5 years of credit history without any notice. They never reach out to you and will close your account abruptly. I lost 40 points on my credit score. Their horrible customer service arrogantly told me that they had all the right to close my account. Do not use this pathetic service.

Horrible

Horrible. Had an account with them since 2017. 3 days ago I contacted them to inform a last name change and request a new card because mine expired in July and I haven’t received a new one. My requests were promptly accepted and them 2 days later they closed my account for “prolonged inactivity” with no notice. Contacted customer service and they said they can’t do anything to reverse it. The card is garbage as the customer service. I would keep the account open just to aging my score. Anyway. Stay away. They are literally garbage

Reported Account as delinquent when their payment portal was not working

I would negative stars if it was possible here. Blockfi payment portal went down and was not available for whole of May/June2023 and then suddenly i get my account reported late. How would i be able to make payment when their payment portal is not working and the customer care number is not working.
This has hurt my credit score and disputing with credit bureaus is a nightmare and has not fixed anything. I just get a template report back.

Dishonest company

Dishonest company.

They partnered with BlockFi to issue credit cards. When Blockfi went under, they closed many people's credit cards - even if they paid bills/paid off card every month.

They gave fraudulent reasons for account closure.

Dear KALPESH KAPADIA, Although I have never been late, it has come to my attention that I was declared late on the account with your organization, despite me having had no communication or contact with your organization at the time that shows I was ever late. I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and I was in the hospital during that time. Furthermore, my number hasn’t changed as well, so it's very unlikely that I wouldn’t be reachable at the time. As you may know, 15 U.S. Code § 1666b is a federal law in the United States that deals with credit card billing statements and provides consumer protections for credit card holders. Under this law, credit card companies must include specific information in billing statements, and further must give customers at least 21 days to pay before charging interest on a balance. It also limits the fees that credit card companies may charge. This confusion is evident in the credit report. It should have provided a 30 day notice saying that I was late. But no such communication was ever made. I should have been informed accordingly in December when it says I was 60 days behind, then in January when the account reached 90 days behind. The month of February appears to have "No data for this period", and suddenly in March, the credit report says that I am 120 days behind, with the account being closed the following month in April. This does not make any sense given that the entire account was paid in full. You did not report one time that this account was 30 days past due yet you reported all at one time showing that it was 120 days past due. There is no data presented in the account that shows a balance update, recent payment, and monthly payment. If there can't be accurate information presented in the account, am I to assume then that there aren't any payments being made on time either?
I, therefore, demand that you correct the factual and inaccurate data present in my credit report by updating or immediately removing this information.

Issue with Deserve and BlockFi

Issue with Deserve and BlockFi. They always either don't pick up the phone or just simply hang up. 10/10 times. I hope my credit score isn't being impacted.

Quite possibly the worst customer…

Quite possibly the worst customer service, and these representatives aren't even aloud to resolve much of anything other that reading from a script.

This is the 3rd representative that has attitude and lack of basic problem solving skills. Just trying to pay back the the remaining balance but between emailing (which is the only version of customer service) and the poorly trained customer service it is immpossible to get anything done.

Look elsewhere to for all things financial with this company as they will drive your customers away with that horrible "service".

Update: Because I feel the company is trying to purge it's negative reviews rather that try to resolve the situation; they also continue to distance themselves from "block-fi"... yawn, ok but still, you are the unwriting bank anf still reflects on your busines and how you choose to resolve issues or actaully be of customer service to help both parties involved... continuning there phone customers service and then the email 'outsourced' services actually able to make any changes are two very diffferent things. No on on the phone can actaully "help" and they differ you to email, inturn, saying "sorry there's nothing we can do"... Nothing has changed, still one star.

Deserve ignores the basics of…

Deserve ignores the basics of contractual obligations and respectable fiduciary responsibilities under the guise of legalese in their terms of service. If you are involved in a three way contract and one party defaults - expecting equal consideration despite the insolvency of one of the parties is outright sleazy. Deserve and their subsequent names will never get my business.

Scam! 5 months of waiting a card for a high apr! Worst customer service, bad apr, I didnt even get the card they kept sending it wrong adress or forgetting to ship. Dont get this card! Stay away! They are a scam!

This company has the worst customer…

This company has the worst customer service. They need an email to get into your account, so they informed me. I gave them SS#, DOB, information off their card and still can access. Someone changed my email address and I called the company after they let me know by email. I've been on the phone for hours with these people, calling and emailing and no satisfaction. I cant get in online either. I need just to see the charges so I can determine which are mine. Hopeless!

I have been trying to call/email derserve…

I have been trying to email derserve about and credit card dispute and credit, they wrote me back a one sentence email referring to the pervious email they sent. Which I never got, and I asked to please send again and to explain the process... no answer. The phone number has been busy all last week and again today all day? What is going on? Whoever answers these posts should be the person in customer service, then again it's probably a hired pre-written blank repsonse.

Card was blocked, but purchase was mine. Block has not been lifted.

My card was blocked for a $450 purchase that I did make. After receiving an email, I replied that the charge was legit. Six days later, the card is still blocked. I have called customer service every day, and a told the securing team is "working on it". I am attempting to travel internationally next week, and I must have access to the card. Very disappointing.
