We bought a leather three seater settee five years ago it is now only fit for the skip .From the time we had it delivered the cushions sagged and were out of shape.They sent an apholsterer but it never looked as it should.

I am writing to you to raise an issue about: In-store shopping at Brentford
The issue that I have experienced was: My order was supposed to be delivered on March 21st,2019 but it was delivered only On April 3rd,2019(Friday).Nobody from DFS informed us about the delay.But I still tolerated.Next I got a call from DFS Brentford saying my order will be delivered on April 3,2019(Friday) between 10 am till 1pm.I called DFS around 12.55pm on April 3rd complaining my order didn’t come yet.Only then DFS people updated me that there was truck breakdown so the order wasn’t delivered.So my questions are 1)why my order was not delivered on March 21st,2019 as promised by DFS 2)why nobody from DFS informed me that my order couldn’t be delivered within 10 am till 3 pm and if you can’t deliver the order within the mentioned time slot why do you charge me £69 for your improper delivery service.When you charge me for delivery I would expect it to be done on time because it’s my hard earned money.finally the order was delivered around 6.30 pm that too happened only after I reminded DFS to deliver my order.Had you updated me about the truck breakdown,I would have definitely agreed to have the delivery on some other day since I was already waiting from March 21st,2019.But your improper communication/updates to me demands refund/compensation to me because I definitely want DFS to pay for my time.
It occurred on: 3/04/2019
This meant that I had to work from home cancelling few meetings with my sub ordinates at office just to receive my order from 10am till 1pm,As a result of which I had to catch up the office work on the weekend(Saturday).Had you told me the order will not be delivered or delivered with delay,I could have planned my office work and didn’t have to work on Saturday because of DFS mistake.I postponed my child’s appointment on April 3rd,2019 in the morning to 3.45 pm to receive the order.The mental trauma which DFS caused is unmeasurable because of improper service and missed updates.Worst customer service from DFS Brentford and the manager was bargaining and never regretting about the delay and the worst service.Had you updated me about the truck breakdown,I would have definitely agreed to have the delivery on some other day since I was already waiting from March 21st,2019.But your improper communication/updates to me demands refund/compensation to me because I definitely want DFS to pay for my time.
I would need a refund/compensation because you have wasted my time and day and I had to stretch my working hours on Saturday.Morever you have spoiled/killed my expectations by delivering the order with great amount of delay since March 21st,2019 till April 3rd 2019.The ridiculous part was even on April 3rd,2019 the delivery didn’t happen as per your plan and it was a mental harassment from DFS to me with my repeated calls.Nearly 2 .5 hours of my time,I was in call with DFS because of your silly mistake.I would want your team to put themselves in my place and do justice to me.Had you updated me about the truck breakdown,I would have definitely agreed to have the delivery on some other day since I was already waiting from March 21st,2019.But your improper communication/updates to me demands refund/compensation to me because I definitely want DFS to pay for my time.
