Quality Plants and Service

I find Dibleys honest and reliable if you have an issue they are always willing to listen & rectify
Their Potted Plants arrive beautifully packed and preserved and flourish wonderfully if you keep in conditions as Dibleys advise. I would recommend this small family business working out of Wales to anyone who wants quality plants

Healthy plants

I have been buying plants from Dibleys for years.
They always arrive well packaged with useful information on how to grow them on. The plants are healthy and soon come into flower.

Fast receipt of plants,which were in good condition,and ready for potting. I order from Dibleys quite regularly,and enjoy the different variety of houseplants.
The Streptocarpus are always good and come into flower quickly after a few weeks.

Good service & quality

I have always been very happy with quality of the plants I have purchased. They have always been delivered quickly, well packaged and in good condition.

What’s not to like

The plants are lovely and I have never had a failure. They come well packaged and in a timely manner.
They must be doing something right as I keep ordering. Remember…..

Plug Plants Just Withered and Died

In September 2024, I ordered 7 Streptocarpus plug plants, two died within six weeks and were replaced. Now I'm left with just one still alive, and not looking well! The plants have all been treated carefully but to no avail. I believe the plant roots were too rotten / weak to let the plants take up nutrients.

Poor plants and subsequent customer support

Ordered 4 streptocarpus plants plus a chirita and a nematanthus. All but the last one looked weak but waited a couple of weeks for them to settle down and perk up. However, wasn’t happy with their progress so wrote to Dibleys with photographs. I received an apology and an admission they didn’t look up to their usual standard. I was asked to provide info on compost/temperature which I did but heard nothing more, no refund or replacement. Three are dying off having made no growth whatsoever.
In the past I have visited the nursery and purchased plants, have also ordered online and all have been really healthy. It is most disappointing that both plants and customer service have deteriorated and I don’t think I shall be buying from them again.

One plant died

One plant died. asked for a replacement, sent a pic and email, no response.

Poor after sales.

Update, I've now received an apology and a replacement. Evidently spam filter to blame,

Overall quality of plants were very good so would recommend .

Very very disappointed.....expected better.

Very very disappointed.
Plants soggy and rotted.....looks like they've been packed soaking wet and they've rotted in transit. Even the packing peanuts are soggy and clumped into solid lumps from being soaked.
I'm left with some slime and a few stalks.....plus £60 out of pocket.

Disappointed

I ordered three plants one being Streptocarpus Minnie, on arrival it was very small and there was green algae around the base of the plant. I potted it slightly proud of the compost but noted there were no white roots showing through. It sat there for quite some time and did not grow at all , the leaves had been cut back so little foliage. I contacted Dibleys who offered a replacement which eventually arrived and compared to the other plant it was a good size with flower buds and healthy foliage. I removed the net around the small plant only to find no roots and basically just a very poor cutting just pushed in the corner. Very disappointed at the quality.

I ordered Dolmina and Carnival but I…

I ordered Dolmina and Carnival but I was concerned they had sticky stems on the flowers I removed them from all my other strepto plants I removed all sticky leaves and carefully cleaned the stems and removed all the flowers they have recovered slightly but are isolated all my other plants Polka dot is lovely and Manon their stems are smooth and healthy I have a nice collection all from Dibleys so I was sorry my last two plants were so poor

I ordered about 4/6 streptocarpus plugs…

I ordered about 4/6 streptocarpus plugs plus 3 bags of Dibleys special compost. Order arrived promptly and plants thrived until I found mealy bug in the compost. Quickly repotted the plants but same thing happened again. I told Dibleys, they replaced the order but the same thing happened again. Now I haven’t any Dibleys plants, all died except for the streptocarpus I’ve bought elsewhere, they are strong healthy plants. No more Dibleys streptocarpus plants.

Fabulous healthy plants

I bought 6 streptocarpus plug plants 10 weeks ago and waited to review them. They arrived quite small but looking healthy. I potted them up and put them on the window ledge and wow - now they are absolutely beautiful. 3 of them are flowering and the Targa has multiple flowers. Wonderful plants - thank you
