Misleading "reviews" and bad experience with this DJ
We got this DJ based on a referral on a public site (nextdoor) for our wedding and the contact before the wedding was good. However when we got to the party this DJ couldn't get the party going for more than 1 song before the music stopping completely for 5 or 10 seconds. Like he was "buffering" or something. this went on for 30 minutes and in the meantime luckily some friends who would also DJ in their spare time, went home to get their own gear to take over. So when they returned, about 30 minutes after the DJ started and without the music continuing for more than 3 minutes straight at any time. We sent him home for the friends to replace him. As this was a wedding, the handling of the DJ was done by the master of Ceremonies, and to avoid trouble they still gave him the full payment. When we tried to contact the day later for a small refund, as we still wanted to pay him for the travel expensens and the time he "worked" even though he almost ruined the party. but would like the money of the 2 hour unspent back to compensate our friends a little. He was insulted that we sent him away "so soon", and didn't want to give us any refund. As we had this bad experience with this DJ we were looking for a place to leave a review. As his own site states an generous amount of possitive reviews, and no bad reviews at all. However there was no place te leave a review, except for a message on their own site which they control. So the reviews and "good" score on the website seems misleading to me.
