Dobbies Garden Centres - Reading Avis 184

Breakfast with Santa for grandsons aged 2 & 3yrs +a 6 month old.
Was absolutely fantastic. We had breakfast the children had colouring picture + make a decoration to hang on a tree. Santa was amazing got the children singing & marching around the restaurant singing and they were All very happy, then each one got a present. He was just lovely my grandsons were absolutely full of happiness for the whole day.
WELL DONE TO THE STAFF TO

The staff were lovely as usual Good supply of bedding plants Also like having Cotton Traders there

My pot grown Christmas tree was lifted into my car without delay

My experience was good. I was pleased to see that the restaurant food had greatly improved. However, I do miss the clothes range that used to be there. Also, the car washing service. I do use Dobbies regularly and will continue to do so.

Found exactly what I wanted and no queue to pay .

I loved the choice of Bird seed and the the price was really competitive.

Visited the restaurant, as usual staff were friendly, polite and professional. Breakfast very enjoyable, drink could have been a tad hotter

We went into the restaurant for lunch, we where happy sitting having are lunch, a young staff member came out and climbed up onto a chair in the restaurant,to change a poster on the wall, I did point out to the young lady she should not be climbing on to chairs ,and she is not insured by Dobbies if she was to fall off the chair and hurt her self , I did speak to the manager, said he would go and talk to them in the kitchen, my question is why hasn’t this staff member been on a Health and safety corse , my concern was for the staff member. I have twenty two years in care ,and know about Health and safety.

Visited with my daughter on Saturday. Love the quality of your plants & gifts. Enjoyed a good cup of tea too!!

Our last visit to Dobbies was a huge improvement! There was a large selection of healthy plants and, as usual, the staff were very helpful!

had a cake and coffee in restaurant very well presented and tasted lovely

Staff are very helpful but the garden centre itself is looking tired especially inside with the household merchandise so much could be done to make it more appealing. And the restaurant seating could be upgraded .

Went to centre to renew membership, had a cup of tea in the cafeteria, bought some packet of seeds and some potted flowers, very helpful and friendly staff.

Great range of products and always friendly service. Fair prices. Sometimes seems to struggle with staff shortages especially in the restaurant which is frustrating.
