Dogtainers Avis 

Im very careful who looks after my 2 cats, so when considering who i should use to get my cats from Brisbane to Hobart it did my research. So many pet transport companies are one man bands and theirs only two companies to really choose from. Dogtainers was recommended to me by friends, the airlines and looking at the reviews i was horrified at some of the stories some of the other providers had. I quickly decided that Dogtainers had some great reviews and decided to give them a call. From start to end the service was great, nothing to hard from the friendly team. When i come back from Hobart after my holidays i will be calling Dogtainers again.

Dogtainers moved both my Dogs from Brisbane to Perth, no issues no problems but highly recommended. Qantas told me to call Dogtainers a preferred supplier and what a great job, very smooth, photos everything.

We imported our 5 year Labrador from the UK to Sydney this year, we spoke to a few U.K. Pet Transport companies and ended up going direct to Dogtainers, who appoint a trusted partner in the U.K. And who took care of everything before we left. The amazing part of the move to Sydney was all the emails and photos of the our lab "lady" who looked like she was having a great time. Dogtainers dropped here of at quarantine in Melbourne then after 10 days flow her up to Sydney and at 4pm as promised the team in Sydney had delivered. Not before we we got even more photos of Lady in the Sydney office waiting in there air condistioned office before being driven to our home.

If you need a pet shipper there's guys are the BEST, thanks to all the teams at Dogtainers from the UK to Melbourne and Sydney a job well done.

What a great service, we moved both our dogs from Brisbane to Darwin being a military family we needed Dogtainers to transfer our pets and board them for 2 weeks. Everything went very smoothly and after 2 weeks of boarding our boys tuned up at our door. Dogtainers Brisbane dealing with Laura was great, nothing was too much hassle, even after having to change the dates two or three times it all worked out fine. Delivery to our home was bang on time and the best thing about the move apart from our boys arriving safe and sound was that Dogtainers defence pets gave us 6 weeks before we had to pay. Thanks guys great service.

Just hired a crate for my labra to fly brisbane to Perth and I love the options the guys have to make it more comfortable for you dog or cat, I got soft vet bedding upgrade and an adaptil collar along with pet transit protection all round a great service and great prices.

Very helpful team, all new manager who was very helpful, Dogtainers has always been the best pet transport provider for me, always use them as I know they have a 45 years history of moving pets. Spoke to Debs last week who moved 3 new puppies for me one domestic and two over seas, fantastic service.

Amazing service can't speak highly enough of Dogtainers staff, attention to detail and fantastic communication. I had a very complicated move, as a defence soldier I needed collections, drop offs, boarding and stops on the way. Dogtainers did a fantastic job, thanks to Laura and the team.

moved 3 pets a few weeks ago, service was great, staff friendly, all 3 of my fur babies arrived in great shape and on time, thanks to sophie.

used Dogtainers again after 2 years and wanted to say yet again this is by far the best pet transport company to use, i did request a quote from a competitor and to start with it was cheaper but Dogtainers gives you one price for the whole move, other companies leave out stuff to hook you then add it later. Use Dogtainers they are by far the best.

What an excellent service, I bread pugs and Dogtainers Sydney always provide transport services for me, they now have a fantastic new call centre and some great staff. Big thank you to Julie and Ben, so helpful.

DO NOT USE DOGTAINERS!!!

Unacceptable service! My pets journey from Australia to the USA was made infinitely more stressful because of the mistakes and poor communication by Dogtainers. My pet's journey was made over two days longer due to their ignorant mistakes.

First, they miss-labeled my pet as "dog" rather than "cat" which made her miss her first flight. The next day I was told she was safely on her flight and on her way to me, only to be updated two hours later telling me she had been FORGOTTEN at the airport and was simply left at the airport!!! The next day she was finally on her Sydney to Los Angeles flight, however Dogtainers gave us the WRONG connecting flight details so she did not arrive on the plane we were told she would arrive on!! She ended up arriving on a flight 5 hours later after many frantic calls to United airlines.

Communication with Dogtainers is awful. I would send several urgent emails before getting a response. I was promised many photos of my pet, but I received very few. I asked for my emergency contact to be contacted if there was an issue while I was in flight but she was never contacted despite these major issues that occurred. I have sent a complaint directly to them three days ago and I have still not gotten a reply or apology for this ordeal. The level of stress it caused me and my pet is unforgivable.

Find a different company to transport your beloved pet!!!

My husband and I travel all over Australia showing our dogs and our two prize cats. We have been using Dogtainers Pet Transport now for over 6 years and have always found the girls and guys very helpful and they make all our travel arrangements for us, even when we don't fly with our show dogs and cats. Last year we took both dogs to the UK and Dogtainers arranged everything, nothing was to much trouble. I have used other pet transport companies in the passed and now having used Dogtainers I would never use anyone else. I call 1800 13 5252 from anywhere in Australia and always get hold of the guys in the office night or day. Thank you so much Dogtainers for looking after our dogs and cats.

WORST COMPANY

I have a bunny to send to Brazil from Sydney, I'm contact with them for more then 2 months and in 2 weeks I have to send her.
I ask for a quote and to provide me a final one I had to provide them my bunny import document, orherwise they wouldn't be able to give a final price or tell me whatelse will be needed.
I got the import document last week and sent them straight away but nobody replied or called me back.
This monday I called them again and how the person who I was in contact with, wasn't there, they put me in contact with another one who tolde that would be going to send me everything shortly.
I called them on tuesday and nothing, today is Thursday and I had to called them AGAIN and they simply told me wouldn't be possible to provide me a quote because they had many things to do, so would be better to contact another company.
Missing 2 weeks after more then 2 months they just call me e do this.

HOW CAN ANYBODY TRUST A COMPANY WHO SAYS TAKE CARE AND WORRY ABOUT YOUR ANIMAL AND IN THE LAST MINUTE JUST TELL YOU THAT WONT HELP ANYMORE.

Dogtainers moved my two cats from Brisbane Australia to London in the U.K. Nothing was to much hassle the team handled everything, kitty and crush arrived in great shape and very happy, wanted to say thanks to Dogtainers and Angie who was the best and who walked me through everything, the best of all the cost was a fraction of the price compared to other pet transport companies.

Flight Centre put me in touch with Dogtainers to mover Sasha my cat from Brisbane to Perth, I needed her collected and dropped of both ends and dogtainers took care of everything. Professional, super helpful and most of Sasha arrived in perfect condition and completely un stressed. She flow with Virgin Australia which was conforting to know. Dogtainers did a great job and I would not hesitate in using them again.

Given that they're charging on the high side, I expected a good service.

1. My consultant didn't answer a question I repeatedly asked on email i.e how long after rabies shot can the animal travel? Due to this I found out later that my pet could have travelled earlier and it created a lot of inconvenience. I kept saying, 'but she can't travel for 30 days after the rabies shot can she?' and it turned out that was old information and it's actually 20 days or something. I hate it when people constantly ignore my questions, especially when I really need to know to organise other things.

2. I found out at customs that there were extra charges to pay WHICH WAS NOT MADE CLEAR ON THE QUOTE or if it was, it was in small-print and it was not pointed out to me. A quote should be a quote, not a quote plus other stuff we didn't mention

3. The process is NOT spelled out. Basically it's just get a rabies shot, pay the money and deliver your pet. That's it, but from the paperwork you receive it looks horrendous. It took me ages of asking what the basic steps were before I found out. (AUS to Switzerland)

In summary my pet arrived safely, on time, and did not seem to be in any distress. if I shipped an animal again, I would LOOK OUT FOR EXTRA CHARGES THAT THEY DON'T MENTION!!
