Ordered a coil purifier 2021 installed 1/22 burned out12/9/22 sent in for warranty with pictures matter was taken care off. Now the unit burned out again still under warranty and showed copy of claim from 2022 now the run around. Filed everything like 2022 claim so why are they making a big issue with who put it in, claim # and other stuff. WHY
I wint ever order from them again
ordered units from then early June 25 got 1/2 the order the other 1/2 ive gotten 3 ESTIMATED shipping dates over 6 weeks i asked to return the 2 units they shipped at their cost since i cant progress on my project without the exterior condenser and i was going to buy a diffrent system then I was told they would take the shipping cost and restocking fees from my return. I wont be back here ever

Purchased an LG Mini split system in 2022 and it has never worked since being installed. Several issues with circuit boards. Ecomfort is useless in standing behind the sale. LG is impossible to get ahold of and when we did they sent the wrong part now won’t respond to deliver the correct one. Spent $$$$$$$$ on this useless POS and Ecomfort won’t help. STAY AWAY!!!!!!
They don't respect the delivery time
They don't respect the delivery time, they make you communicate with the carrier where the company sets the delivery time totally different from the one proposed, making you look bad with your customers.

Ordered a new heating unit for my Goodman air handler on 2/5/2025. Got an email 3 days later saying the unit was out of stock and no ETA. Got another email saying a replacement unit would be sent out. Today is 2/17/2025. No part. No info.. nothing. By the time I get the part winter will be over.

I purchased a Noritz combination boiler for my home on sale and with free shipping. I have reason to return the unit for a refund and was within their 30 day requirement. Upon receiving their RMA# and return instructions I noticed that $300 was deducted from what I paid. Come to find out they are deducting shipping that I originally got for free. I paid for a boiler with free shipping, now they want to take money from my refund that was not paid for that purpose. They want me to pay the return shipping as well on top of that AND if they decide on their end that there is reason to, they will take ANOTHER 25% on top of that as a "restocking fee" to clean and repackage the unit for resale, which is at that point selling a previously returned item as if it was a brand new item. They are also not an official distributor for any of the company's they sell products from and do not have a physical address even listed on their website. I have filed a FTC complaint about these practices as to me when you take money from someone for something they did not pay for in the first place, that is theft. I am going to fight for a full refund but doubt I will get it. Don't get scammed by these frauds or their affiliate company powerequipmentdirect.com. They run many companies, and they are all fraudulent and will steal your money. I do hope the FTC takes legal action to force them to pay back to all customers what they have stolen or that they get shut down.

Did I get shipped a previous customer defective return?
First a one star review may be a bit harsh because it is true that my expectations around customer service do not align with their standard policies which of course I agreed to when ordering from them and clicking a box. They were well within their right to respond to my concerns with the product they sold me with: "we need to be notified of any shipping damage or missing parts issues within two days of delivery to assist with a parts claim. To consider any type of return, we need to be notified within thirty days of delivery."
So I ordered a pre-fabricated plumbing manifold to make installation of a boiler a bit easier. This was a DIY project so as typical I ordered all the parts I thought I needed, but truthfully didn't get to install for four months. It was then I discovered that the manifold was warped, no apparent shipping damage, just poor workmanship. Here is the part that led me to write this review even though they were well within there policies. When I first received the manifold it looked to me like an open box return. I actually thought, hmmm that leg of the manifold looks a little skewed. I was not in a position to be able to fit it to the boiler so I had no way to confirm. Clearly I should have contacted Ecomfort and said I suspected a problem, I won't speculate on how they would have reacted then, I will just share facts. I believe I was shipped a product that was already returned once and that I lost out because I did not identify the issue quickly enough. It's that experience I rate a one star.

I am an HVAC contractor and we ordered a communication/data wire for a mini split. We ordered & paid extra $41 for overnight delivery on Thursday late morning, to ensure we would recieve by at least Monday morning for the install. It did not arrive until Monday after 5pm.
We called eComfort for refund & they refused delivery refund even though it did not arrive overnight as stated on the invoice. They offered a return but I have to pay for the return delivery. And if thats not bad enough, I have to pay extra for tracking on the return....This is the type of old-school company that does NOT stand behind their products or service. I would highly recommend not using them. Supplyhouse is a much better option in my opinion. We will never use eComfort again.
$6k worth of equipment lost
I ordered $6k worth of equipment, they shipped it fedex without a signature required. FedEx claims it was delivered but it was misdelivered to someone else. EComfort is unwilling to help and won’t send replacements for the lost items even though it’s their fault that they shipped without a signature required. Who ships that value of goods without a signature requirement!! Don’t buy from them. They are incredibly unhelpful.
I am very disappointed with ecomfort
I am very disappointed with ecomfort. The product I ordered was delayed. I was told I would get an updated shipping date on Monday. It is now Friday and I still have no response. I was told the reps are "not allowed" to pick up the phone and call manufacturers. This is a ridiculous process. If it's been more than 24 hours to a business with no response, the only method to get an update should be by phone. I would not recommend this company
Ecomfort provided great service
I purchased a complete Mitsubishi central ducted heat pump system from eComfort. I picked up 3 items locally at Ferguson and 3 items were shipped. When I got ready to install, I noticed the very expensive thermostat had been damaged and returned to Ferguson by a previous buyer. You could not tell unless you opened it up. I called eComfort and they said the would check into it and get back to me. I was a little concerned because of som of the reviews here. A few hours after I called eComfort, I got an email saying a new thermostat was on the way. Mistakes happen and how they are handled makes the difference. The service was excellent.

I ordered an air conditioner. They quickly sent me a kegerator. A nice one, but I had ordered an air conditioner so I had to send it back. Then they sent me a toilet. A nice one, but I had ordered an air conditioner. I thought someone at the warehouse must be trolling me for some reason. Finally, on the third try, they sent me an air conditioner. And no, they didn’t offer a discount or anything at all for all the heavy lifting and moving I had to go through returning the two mistakes they sent me.

Don’t buy through eComfort
Bought a Revolv furnace through eComfort, big mistake. They bought the unit from Ferguson who bought it from the manufacturer Style Crest. Nobody takes responsibility but takes money and points to the other. Any “warranty” is void once it is delivered or if you even think about DIY. If it’s delivered to you HVAC people won’t touch it. Installation instructions are poor because as I was told they don’t want you to touch it. If you need a part (orifice change, everybody lives at 2k feet) they won’t give you the part number. In the long run you’ll probably save money and frustration by just hiring HAVC and get it over with.
My brother had the same experience when he bought a Williams furnace through them.
