I have been speaking with Dai(eichdyn) on and off over the past few months, ever since I found out that a change at work was going to cause me not an insignificant amount of trouble. in short, the company I was working for were about to move to a non hybrid working model and considering I have a 2+ hr commute, it wasn't going to work.....

myself and Dai had an initial chat(free of charge and obligation) where he was incredibly helpful, insightful and understanding about my position and circumstance.

I then neglected to follow up on anything for a couple of months until Dai messaged me asking me how things were going. To be honest, I was being stubborn and thinking that I would be able to fix my predicament on my own. After 4 or 5 months I have made numerous applications with very little interest or feedback on my CV. This wasn't the first time I had been in this situation(job searching, minimal feedback, being ghosted by recruiters etc), so I just thought that this was how it normally goes.
