Issues:
1. No physical shop in Manchester
2.No invoice
3.No hassle free returns
4. Lengthy delivery time
5. Incorrect info regarding fibre content
6. Poor quality items bearing no resemblance to advert.
7. Goods shipped from China.
8. Received a shipping address in China with a postal quote in Polish Zlotys. No guarantee after paying customs duty the package would reach its destination. Furthermore if damaged in transit they could refuse to refund. This was a deliberate attempt to deter people from returning items.
9. The potential return costs were extortionate.
WHAT I DID
1. Wrote to their email address.
2. Ist response offered 20% refund and to keep the items.
3. 2nd response offer increased to 30%
4. 3rd response offered 40%
5. 4th and final response 50%
I then contacted my credit card company who reimbursed me the full £125 after submitting all my correspondence with Ellaire.

A lesson to learn - always read the company's Trustpilot reviews first! The items look wonderful in their adverts but are nothing like the clothing shown in the photos. They are of poor quality, sizing and fit. Whatever they advertise, there is no money back guarantee and you are told to return the goods direct to China at your own expense + customs duty of about £15 and if they get there safely they 'may' decide to reimburse you the cost of the item. A total con - this firm also operates under several names BEWARE!
They should not be allowed to carry on trading.

This company took my money and has yet to send the goods. They have not replied to the emails I’ve sent. They are a total fraudulent scam. Avoid like the plague.

Their advert was on Facebook who despite my complaints to them to remove Ellaires advert from Facebook insist that they are a reputable firm !

I should have read the reviews. Cheaply made. Very poor quality material. Made in China, 100% polyester. Not as seen in the advertisement. Should’ve known better. Unable to contact anyone to complain or to get a refund.

Rubbish. Poor quality from China. Still waiting on return address, don't expect much. AVOID.

Scam, scam!
1 their shop front is ai generated,.
2 They do not have a shop in Manchester real.
3 Description of goods are ai generated.
4 No order details are sent to you.
5 Goods arrive from china with no packing details.
6 Returns at own expense to china, stating customs charge on receipt which will mean no refund.
7 Business not registered in the UK which means you can ask your payment method for a “chargeback “
8 DO NOT BE TEMPTED!

The shirt I bought was advertised as linen. It clearly isn't. Don't buy anything from this company. It is based in China. No possibility of a refund. Ellairemanchester is a scam

Bought product knowing it probably wasn't how it appeared but price was ok. As already predicted not like the AI photo of product at all. Alot cheaper looking but I knew I was never going to send it back. However do check on Amazon as you'll probably find the exact same product but cheaper.

Do not touch this company. They state Manchester but they are in China. Product poor quality material, design and fit, return charge £15+. Looks like I was not the only one "conned"

Avoid this company ! I ordered a linen blouse thinking it was a Manchester company but it took ages to come from China. Very poor quality nothing like the picture shown and returning is really difficult .

i ordered a dress from the company(thinking it was coming from manchester), it took 2wks to arrive from asia and it was of very poor quality and nothing like the online photo. i have written numerous emails asking the company for a full refund as per their terms and conditions and have received not acknowledgment or reply. I am very upset as the item cost £34.95. I will leave you to make what you will of this company after reading the above and other similar reviews.

Very misleading as you assume it is a British company but things are shipped from China.bought what looked like two beautiful blouses for £30 each.

They took ages to arrive and were extremely poor quality.

Returning is difficult as you have to pay for returns to China!

Strongly advise not to use this firm! Very poor quality "linen" blouse (not linen) arrived, with torn seam. Was required to email a photo of the damage. Ridiculous response re return (pay to return the goods to China, with potential further costs for Chinese customs, and then "may receive reimbursement"). As other customers have said - this is as close to a scam as you can get. Wish I'd read their reviews first! The name "Ellairemanchester" gives the false impression that this company as something to do with UK. Don't touch them with a bargepole!

I wish I'd read the reviews before I ordered. I ordered some jewellery for a birthday present thinking it was coming from a shop somewhere in Manchester. Two weeks later the birthday is here and the goods still in transit somewhere in Braintree! Needless to say will always read reviews again and wouldn't touch this company with a barge pole! Don't recommend under any circumstances!

Very poor quality unlabeled goods from China. Takes ages to arrive. Can't return them sensibly. As close as you can get to a scam that I have come across. I would advice giving them a miss.

Just like all these other reviews I was attracted by the website and bought a short sleeved blouse that was advertised as linen . It wasn’t nor was it the fit of my size I asked for a refund but got 2 ridiculous offers which would just have meant me spending more money. They should be reported as a scam and the website taken down.

I want to return sandals I bought and the only way is by emailing the company. They do not reply to my email message.

The sandals were badly fitting and uncomfortable, very cheap looking. The strap barely fitted across my instep. Added to this the delivery time was unacceptable.

This company is a complete scam
My wife ordered a dress from this website which claims to be in Manchester UK but the stuff comes from China and the far East it takes ages to arrive and when it did the quality was appalling and did not fit despite my wife ordering her correct size on the day she received Parcel she immediately contacted the firm asking how to send it back and asking for a full refund the reply was they could send her another dress for a price and she could keep the dress and when she replied that she just wanted a full refund she was informed that she would have to pay shipping as the item would have to go back to China and also may well incur custom changes and all so that it could well get lost in transit despite the website clearly stating that items could be returned free of charge within 30 days of recept
We are now taking this further as we payed with our credit card
Do not touch this company with a long bargepole as they are a load of crooks if we could have given a lower score than one we would have given it minus 10.
Be warned.

I ordered a dress advertised as a size 3L UK 20. No size on dress label. The bust measurement of the dress was 40 inches. Uk retailers state this is size 16 a size 20 would be a bust size of 45 inches. Trying to return I would have to pay tracked and signed for postage back to china. Nothing mentioned on purchasing items that the cost of return would be to china.

Very disapointed now I have a dress I cant wear and can only get a refund of 20% of the puchase price paid.
