Great pub, food was excellent & staff very helpful & friendly. Any questions we had, Jane was there to answer & offered alternatives with our food choices. Well worth a visit.

I visited Embers Inns ,Three hammers in Mill Hill and was treated by a racist thug,he is tall, blonde ,English guy very racist and he talks in a very loud ,disrespectful manner ,he probably comes from a broken home or probably not brought up properly. He has has been disrespectful, rude and is very racist .No one with colour should visit three hammers in Mill Hill.Unfortuntely,we are back in the dark ages ,some people are still brought up in a racist ,arrogant, nasty way .This same racist thug has disturbed our evening several times in the past with his nasty, disrespectful, loud and unprofessional behaviour.I hve never seen any human being so disgusting and racist like him.Anyone who is non white or coloured should this pub like a plague ,unfortunately apartheid is not over yet and three hammers is proof of it.
New menu dissappointing
Macaroni cheese..overcooked..no salad or garnish & sad garlic bread..worst meal on menu
Low expectation of ember inns
The smallest Sunday roast ever!! Beef okay, Yorkshire pud ok, roasties ok ,
One desert spoon of peas ( not broccoli as menu) a smaller spoonful of red cabbage, 3 batons of carrot. No French mustard and all served Luke warm. 2 meals and drinks £28.
Makes mcD look like a gourmet feast.
Shall not be returning to the fox and dogs Sutton Coldfield!
Couldn’t find a space on ember inns website for reviews - not surprised! - staff didn’t ask if everything was ok with the meal which is not surprising.
If a Cold meal is for you then go !!
I booked for our Sunday Lunch today on arrival I was given table 36 Sat opposite a large table with a dog sat there , not at all happyOur starter came Breaded mushrooms Rock hard they bounced off the plate , then Sunday Carvery …. This was Cold , All vegetables raw , and not at all enjoyable A complete waste of money Think twice before going to this place …. We certainly will
Very dissatisfied rude manager
The Earl Haig Bexleyheath very dissatisfied we were a party of 12 pre booked our table in advance only to be told there was no steak they didn’t have any. The manager Dave was very rude to the lady whose birthday it was by slamming his keys on the bar when she complained and commented ( how do I know what people want to eat) . She is +70 so this was very dis respectful. 3 cuts of steak on the menu and not one meal to offer us.this was Earl Haig bexleyheath
Anderton Arms really poor service…
Anderton Arms really poor service today. After waiting an hour and twenty minutes and being reassured that it was being plated up we gave up and asked for a refund. Lots of other people complaining. They appeared to prioritize a party (for which we were told to move)
Where are our mains?!
I am currently sitting at a table where we have been waiting for our mains for over an hour and 15 minutes. Staff are friendly but run ragged. Where is our food? I want to go back in the kitchen and help them. Ready to ask for a refund.
The Beehive, Reigate. Dog friendly with warm and friendly staff
I regularly eat at The Beehive, Reigate, It's very Dog friendly and the staff are awesome. I am not a drinker so i only go for a weekly Mixed Grill which I go large as I share the dinner with my dog, Maddie. We are always greeted as we walk through door and Maddie is showered with fuss. The food has always been well cooked and presented, as per instruction (rare stake with nothing on it), yummy :-) The atmosphere in the pub is very friendly and welcoming (to all visitors) as far as I have observed in all the times I go there.. Maddie only has to hear me say "mixed grill" and she immediately runs to the front door and sits waiting (I kid you not) I will only give praise when I see it's deserved and this one is!

Went to the easington in Banbury for brunch. Had a wonderful experience. Great food and friendly accommodating staff.
BOOKED ON MY APP
BOOKED ON MY APP, BUT DIDN'T RECEIVE THE E-MAIL OR ANY NOTIFICATION ,so I phoned the said Restaurant ,which they confirmed the Booking had gone through.
when I arrived at the Turners Mill I was told I'd hadn't booked ,but the had a spare table I could use
Once at the table I explained to the Manageress or regarding phoning up and confirming my booking, I explained I spoke to a Lady on the phone ,in which she replied "theres only 2 ladies who worked in the establishment and one was herself and she didn't take any phone call and the other would be Donna who doesn't make mistakes .(does that make me a liar)
Felt to be made very small and embarrassed in front of my Wife and son.
I've always been a regular visitor for several years now , but sorry never again
My night at The WoodPecker inn
My night at The WoodPecker in Waterlooville Hampshire. First time of trying again after 2 years because of a bad experience, sat down at 7:00pm and ordered a simple Nacho sharer and the family ordered burgers. After 35mins of waiting the food arrived. However, I was informed the Nachos had run out and asked to order something else. So I quickly picked Gamon, a further 30 mins passed the family were finished and order pud… my Gamon arrived with the pud an hour and 5 minutes after sitting down. This poor gamon was basically charcoal and the eggs were rock hard it was bloody awful… I felt so sorry for the serving lady as she was really trying to help as others were having similar issues. My 13 year old could have done better. Guess what the woodpecker is off the list again
The Optomist at Upminster
Second Time visiting The Optomist at Upminster, which we again booked this time for mothers 88th birthday, and for the second time they were out of stock of the few items I asked for on the menu as they were a few weeks back on our first visit, no appologies and told to order something else again, on the first visit we were put on a table with a faulty light unit above thats was constantly flashing, we had to move table so we got up and did so much to their disgust, as they said they couldn't do anything about it, it was not working on second visit, and a lot of the food had sold out and was not available yet again, this totally spoilt a Birthday for an old lady who very rarely gets out due to health, we were so disgusted at the service and attitude we rebooked elsewhere immediatley, we got up and walked out without ordering the meal, we were also given a thrown together table set up that quite frankly felt like it was an after thought due to lack of space, overall the staff are rude, clueless and have no customer skills or knowledge of running a resturant, the management obviously have no organisational skills regarding bookings and stock, The last time I will ever be booking here they are an absolute shambles and best ways avoided.
Don't order from the Dog & Gun in Tettenhall for delivery
Ordered from the Dog & Gun in Tettenhall through deliveroo, order was rack of ribs, onion rings and 2 desserts. Waited over an hour for it to arrive when I opened it up it was totally the wrong order. Nothing was correct. I received two burgers, gammon and chips and fish and chips. When trying to contact the place to rectify this could not get an answer on the phone kept going to voicemail. There is allergies in the household so some of the food can't be eaten. Very bad service from these and deliveroo
Great service fron Vicki
Had a good meal at the Foley Arms in Stourbridge today. Despite being very busy, Vicki was exceptionally positive, helpful and attentive to our group. All in all a very pleasant experience.
This review is for the acton park pub…
This review is for the acton park pub in wrexham,
Terrible in every way! It is the second time this has happened in the last two months,. I walked from the city centre up the hill with my family of four, carrying my 6 year old on my shoulders planning on a nice lunch at the acton gate pub only to be turned away because the woman told us we should have booked in advance! I noticed there were only four occupied tables with only small numbers of people at the tables. "I asked can I book one then"? and she then came out with an excuse that they only have one chef in today so we couldn't even book a table!
It was pretty clear to me she simply didn't want us there because it was the last day of an ember inns promotion that kids eat for £1 and they simply couldn't be bothered serving us.
Because this is the second time this has happened now and the excuse last time was even worse!
I will never take my family to the actom gate pub again and I will also ensure none of my extended family go there either, ever again.
DOG and GUN, tettenhall
Visited Dog and Gun today.
Food really good, chef delivers succulent chicken and salads really fresh. most of all you cant beat finishing off with a Sanjeev liqueur coffee,
Ashley park hotel huge shout out
Wow, Dan, his team behind the bar and the chef all pushed it to the limit. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at ease. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was plentiful even when a couple more guests than planned turned up. My guests didn't notice Dan in the background running around tending to out of his control problems. It was all so smooth. The function was a weeks notice and you would of thought months had gone into preparation. The area was very clean and well lit. Cannot thank you enough. Dan is a credit to Ember Inns.

Another fabulous meal & drinks at the Ember Inn - Long Horn Walsall. We visit quite regularly as the quality food & drink, plus special offers are absolutely fantastic value for money. Again this Sunday we enjoyed a beautiful 2 course roast dinner with a bottle of wine and could not fault the food or service. Well done Sian, you and your team are brilliant
My mum and I visited the Bramley…
My mum and I visited the Bramley Cottage, Redditch for lunch one Saturday afternoon. It was cold in the bar, even though we were assured by staff that the heating was on, so went to sit by a fire. Ordered our food and then customers with dogs started to come in. I was not aware it was a 'dog friendly' pub. I was incensed as they went to sit with other customers that were eating. Thank goodness they did not sit by me. Why would you want to take a dog into an eating establishment? There was no designated area for them. I spoke to one of the managers who did say it had been 'dog friendly' since before Covid. She said the decision was made by another manager. I did ask if he was an animal lover to which she replied yes. I have been a regular in that pub for more than 30 years and will not be returning. I emailed my concerns to the Bramley Cottage, asking why it is not advertised on their website. Why have they not considered those of us who are frightened of dogs, or even allergic. Dogs may have fleas or tics. They wag their tails and shed their hair and servers are walking around with food. Their reply was basically 'tough'. What happened good customer service?
