Ember and Kate have amazing customer service. I recently ordered a sweater and received a confirmation email. The photo of the item was not the same as my order and I was concerned an incorrect item would be sent. Their team responded to me almost immediately and assured all would be correct. Amazing service!

I ordered a cute pair of 'orthopedic' shoes. They came from China. Plastic stitching, way too small. They offered a $9 exchange, but I have no idea what size would fit since this was so off. So, to return - to China!- is almost the cost of the shoes. Very disappointed, especially since their contact info is in USA which was misleading.

The merchandise is made and shipped from China. It is polyester and the stitching is less than professional. If you want to return something, you need to ship it back to China and it is expensive. I would not purchase from this website again.

How in the world are there GREAT reviews on this site!!!! I ordered the Black with DENIM trimmed shirt that was advertised as a FIVE star review and looked fabulous... with a great description. What I received is a polyester PRINTED with denim shirt that is absolutely hideous! How can this continue to be advertised and sold???? VERY ANGRY and saddened that I was duped! Can't trust anyone anymore!!!

Merchandise looks cheap in quality/materials. They make it sound easy to make returns. Just 30 seconds they say on their website. But then when you try to initiate a return. They require multiple emails with pictures only to offer you a 15% return instead of mailing it back to save you paying international shipping charges to China (which is more expensive than the value of the item you are trying to return). No where on their website do they mention anything about their warehouse being in China. I usually don't fall for online retailers like this, but they do a good job making their website look like a high quality operation. But the customer service and products are anything but quality.

I wish I had seen these reviews before making a purchase. Got duped by a pinterest ad for a pair of shoes that were on "sale" for their "anniversary week" and "almost sold out" but the site has been claiming this for over a month. After waiting almost a month for the shoes to arrive (even though the site also claims "fast" shipping) they did not look nearly as nice as the pics on the site. After emailing about returning the shoes, I was informed I would be responsible for shipping to their warehouse in China (the cost of which is 1/2 the price of the shoes) and I would only get refunded once they are recieved. Nowhere on the site does it state return shipping is international. Please save yourself a headache and $$$!

This Company is deceptive in their marketing. This is a Chinese company. They have 2 ladies on their site as if they are the owners. Their clothing is nothing like the pictures. Stay away, don't waste your money. Its garbage clothing from china. I fell for it for not doing my research. Absolutely deceiving.

As so many have said, don’t buy from this company. Clothing is nothing like pictures, you must send to China any returns at an exorbitant amount of $$ well exceeding purchase price likely. So many other companies ARE return friendly at budget pricing clothing, this is not one of them. Negative zero stars!!!!

Let my experience serve as a WARNING!!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! It is a total rip off, not based in the U.S. I was sent a very cheap printed copy of an embroidered top (so it was intentionally supposed to look similar) When I complained, they offered 15% refund and I could keep the top. NO! They then came back with a 25% offer and me keep the top. NO! Again - learn from my mistake! They make their money from defrauding consumers $40 at a time.

Please note that the items look nothing like photos or descriptions online and the fabric is so cheap and itchy that I will most likely have to throw them away. I will not purchase from Ember and Kate again due to the quality of the product and this return process. The return was to be mailed back to China at a personal cost that would be more than items I purchased.

Although the only communication with Ember & Kate is through email...which made me concern at first. But then, Kate came through with flying colors and resolved my issue in lightning speed! Ember & Kate gave me back the faith in believing that issues can and do get resolved via email.

Thank you Kate for expediting the refund due to my error of ordering 2 of the same size!
