Very slow
Very slow, over 5 weeks just to delivery lose medals. And when arrived, they were not even made up. I had to complete them as their set up.

Spent over £200 on medals 5 weeks ago and they don’t even reply to emails asking for confirmation of delivery I sent 5 days ago!
Sorry guys, if you’re going to run a business that takes people money you need to put some of the profits back into customer care.

very helpful & honest staff
very helpful & honest staff, no faffing around, gave me a six week deadline and kept to within it, medals that were mounted and cleaned are very very good, overall a pleasant team to work with, i would use them again if needed

Quality of product, no attention to detail.
Ordered two replacement medals (GSM with engraving and Golden Jubilee) Court mounted. Order placed mid August with a lead time of 6 weeks. Timescale worked for my requirements, initial interaction was good with email proof of engraving sent to confirm details. Fast forward to delivery and to say disappointed is an understatement, the mounting leaves a lot to be desired, the GSM ribbon has excess glue marks and finger marks, they overall mounting looks terrible and not straight on the board.
Having reached out via email direct to Empire and through the website all I have had back is an automated reply "Thank you for your email - we will be in touch shortly"
Called Empire a couple of times but no answer. I'm glad I hadn't sent the my original medals to Empire

While we’re pleased the initial process met your expectations, it’s clear that the finished mounting and subsequent lack of response have been extremely disappointing. The issues you’ve described with the quality and presentation are not acceptable and do not reflect the standard we aim to deliver.
We also apologise for the lack of follow-up to your emails and calls. This is particularly frustrating when you are trying to resolve a concern, and we recognise we have fallen short here.

Wow such quality and care
Wow! After attempting my own efforts with online frames etc for other relatives, I was blown away by the care and respect for my Grandfather’s WWI medal ribbons. Yes there’s a long processing time but the 6 weeks was accurate for my project. The final item is amazing. My rubbish photography patched and restored beautifully. Was able to speak to the craftspeople about what final design I could have, colouring of mounts etc and am thrilled with the final result. Great packaging. Such a fitting tribute. Thank you

I felt compelled to leave a review immediately after receipt of my order. Eve very kindly oversaw my placing the order and provided a detailed explanation regarding shipping procedures etc. I purchased the miniatures medal holder for my husband so as to avoid having to pin his medals to his new tuxedo, it’s brilliant! The medals simply fix on to the transparent card thereafter the card is placed in breast pocket! Looks amazing the card is not visible at all. Furthermore, the order was packaged with care and much to my husband’s delight had a ‘lollipop’ attached to the packaging. What a delightful gesture!

Becki from their customer services was fantastic, she called me directly to explain everything was in order and that she was doing her utmost to process everything in time. This might help justify the cost.
Delivery also takes too long.
Very well packaged against transit damage.
