The worst customer support I've ever experienced
Their chatbot doesn’t work at all. Without any conversation even starting, they just post the following canned response and ends the chat unilaterally. Of course, I’m the actual account holder.
"We have a strict privacy policy and it looks like an attempt was made to access your account by an individual who is not authorized. In order to ensure your account is secure, we'd ask you call in so we can confirm your account details over the phone."
Horrible customer service
Our gas company was switched to Enbridge. My first bill said I could enroll in budget billing as long as I paid a certain amount by the 17th. I made that payment on the 12th. The next bill doesn't reflect that payment nor budget billing. When I call to speak to a representative, they say they did receive it but the 19th and so they are unable to enter me into budget billing. When I say my bank notes it was paid on the 12th, they just repeat that they didn't get it until the 19th so there is nothing they can do. Shouldn't they be able to enter me into budget billing at any point? How ineffective can this company be?

They moved my bill into somebody else's…
They moved my bill into somebody else's name. It took them four months to figure it out. Once they figured it out they called me to say that they would transfer the bill back to my name and that the bill was all taken care of. When I saw the next bill it was those four months and current month's bill. I called and explained that it was their error and that they should be handling the bill. They said that's not how life works and took it personal. I explained that I was set up on auto pay with them and didn't believe I need to be monitoring their work because since I heard absolutely nothing from them for four months and my utilities were completely uninterrupted. I explained how the policies that Enbridge is demonstrating is that of a monopoly and since their are no other providers for gas in our area they can do whatever bs policy they think will make them money. It ended with them saying they can split the bill up over months to help me pay for it all and I said it isn't about the money it is about what the company displays when an error is made. The ethics of this company is horrible and needs to change.
They’re a bunch of crooks
They’re a bunch of crooks. They lie, their customer service skills suck, and they’re just rude. One of these company’s workers came to the side of our house, and they were acting extremely suspicious. Days later, more enbridge workers show up to turn the gas off and find a lock on the metre. One of their worker’s had put a lock on the gas. After, finding the lock on the gas they attempted to blame us and said we were responsible for putting the lock on the gas metre. This not true since we have no reason to ever touch the gas. So, now as a result of this lock incident they are trying to dig up our dirt, and remove the gas line from the house entirely.
This has been an ongoing battle with them, and trying to get a hold of the Obudsman to settle this and put an end to it. All bills have been paid, so there’s no reason that this is what would be the issue. Today, they showed up unannounced and started digging up our lawn without any warning with what they were going to be doing. Please avoid this company.

The weirdest company on earth
The weirdest company on earth. I pay my bills regularly, then they send my money back, sending bills with two-month-due amounts. Since I didn't notice they sent my payment back, I repaid it. In that case, they added a penalty due to late payment!
Please avoid this company if possible
If you have the option to avoid Enbridge, avoid Enbridge. Enbridge has cut off the heat in apartments I've lived in mid-winter, despite myself and other tenants calling and working out a payment plan, and threatened to turn off heat (due to landlord not making payment on time) in mid-February this year (2022) despite current legislation. They're also responsible for millions of US gallons of spilled oil. (The number was over 9 million in 2014. I'm not sure what the number is now but you could look up the court cases.) Enbridge is a company that is only concerned with making a profit, and my experience with them this year was in line with bad experiences I've had in the past. Thankfully I'm in a situation now where I have a woodstove and don't have to depend on Enbridge for heat. I live in ON, Canada.
