Energie Fitness - Hampton Hill Avis 

As a long standing member together with my husband, I am sorry that I have to write a bad review, but our frustration has grown over a period of time.
We completely understand the recent problems you have had regarding the flood and appreciate the regular updates.
This aside, there have been numerous occasions when we have turned up usually on a weekend early in the morning, when the club has not been open on time.We were led to believe that the staff changes you made would rectify this problem, and for a while it seemed to.
This morning Sunday 26th July 2026 at at 945am we went to the gym, bearing in mind that after a three week closure it has only just reopened, to find that it was closed.
We have not received any written notification about the closure, so can only assume that there wasn’t anybody to open the club!
As of today, we have already spent a months membership, without being able to use the club. While this was not your fault, do you not think that you should be offering some compensation to your members for the money they have spent while not being able to use the gym?!
We are patient, reasonable people, but our patience is wearing thin now.

Were difficult about cancelling my membership - they billed me on a different day each month compared to the contract so although I cancelled before they billed me, they made me pay for 2 extra months. If that was not bad enough, I just saw on my bank account that they hadn't cancelled my direct debit and were about to take out a third extra payment in 2 days time. They were completely unhelpful - don't trust them with your money!

I absolutely LOVE this gym!
The equipment is always clean and tidy.
The staff are always smiling and friendly.
Classes are challenging and fun
Honestly couldn’t fault it!
If you’re thinking of joining-DO IT,you won’t regret it. It really is a fantastic local gym!

Great gym. A great variety of equipment for the size of gym. Staff generally helpful and happy to chat (esp Elijah and Miranda :)
Been going to this gym for about 2.5 years and still finding new equipment and exercises to try out. Can get busy in the evenings but people generally happy to move around/off equipment if asked.

Great gym. Really helpful staff

I was a bit tedious on joining the gym but I have started and to my surprise I actually enjoy it, the place is a little gem with all the work out stuff you would need for any kind of workout, also everyone is just getting on with there own stuff, you don't have to wait to long to get onto a machine a great place to just do your stuff, highly recommend.

This is the best gym I have ever been a member of. The staff are so friendly and helpful. It has a real community and is all inclusive and not alt all intimidating. There is also a great selection of classes.
Big shout out to the manager, Rachel who was great at sorting out a problem I had with my membership. Highly recommend

I've never joined a gym before as I've always found them a little intimidating.
I have also felt a little self conscious whenever I've considered gaining a membership previously, so the biggest compliment I can pay Energie Gym (Hampton) is that from my first trail day with them I felt so welcomed and comfortable and I'm now in my second year as a member.
The staff regularly go above and beyond and I like to think of them as friends now.
Other members pretty much leave you to your own devices, but are always willing to help or advise if required.
If you're unsure about joining any gym I would suggest popping in to speak to the team in Hampton Hill and I'm confident you'll feel at home instantly.
Wide choice of classes and equipment and at a fair price make this a perfect place to get in shape.

While it boasts a welcoming atmosphere and offers helpful advice, it's best to avoid peak times due to machine availability. Overall, it's an average experience worth a try if you're considering membership.

This is not only the best value gym I have used, but also the friendliest. There is an excellent choice of facilities and machines in great condition. If anything does go wrong, they are repaired quickly. But the true accolade of this gym are the staff. Rach and her team can never do enough to help and their advice is second to none. Always knowledgeable and friendly. It’s well worth having a trail day if you aren’t a member.

I have been a member at Hampton Hill Energie Fitness for over a year and love it! It’s a friendly gym with everything you need and the classes are great. Particularly love Rachael’s classes.

Rejoined after exactly one year…Trained a lot on my own, but after only two classes&new amazing instructors I won’t be able to walk for another year!
Best kick a** gym and decision ever!! 👏
