Tried to get a quote but site asked me to chose my address. It did not show this and did not give me the option to enter the correct address, so cannot get a quote! What use is that and how can you trust any supplier that has not tested out the basics of is comparison site!?

Had no problems at all
Had no problems at all. Smooth switchover so far (although not fully complete yet).
I’m happy with everything.
Information was easy to understand and details of tariffs were set out simply for me to see.

Not as straightforward as I hoped
I kept getting a message on my screen that my current supplier would charge exit fees if I transferred now. However, I do not think that could be correct as I was well into the 49 day period when I should be able to switch without penalty.
When I got the documents from the new supplier (British Gas) I found that the tariff I had chosen included a year's Boiler support. As I have a full maintenance contract with BG I do not need this. Perhaps I missed it somewhere in the application process but if it was mentioned I don't think it can have been highlighted sufficiently.

It was helpful and the process but took a long time to reach an advisor
It was helpful and the process of switching is still on-going. I have a more sustainable supplier in prospect and at less cost. My reservations are that they take a very long time to answer the phone.
