You make all this stuff SO…
You make all this stuff SO complicated!!!!!! Home user and VERY tired of spending 20 mins getting my printer to work when I only have 3 pages to print. You are designing for users not self-indulgent engineers! Tired and tired. Love the idea of an Ecotank - right on point - but why does it keep asking me to buy ink when the tanks have plenty? Guys, keep it simple, keep the end user in mind and just give us a printer that consistently works!

Epson printer cash back scheme
I recently bought an Epson eco tank printer. The model qualifies for their cash back scheme for which I duly registered, whilst amongst other things entering my receiving bank details. I then received a link to a customer portal again asking for bank details which I once again gave. Since then I've had another email saying they haven't had ny bank details. I followed up by completing their query submit window and have heard nothing.
Epson, if you deny me my cash back I'm going to be mighty upset!!
Great product though 👌
Rubbish
Spent over 700 on epson eco tank. Had problems moment I got it. Spent 2 hours setting it up to use with pbotoshop to then just have bad quality prints. Can't get no supper over the phone as the customer services can't get my email right to send me what ever help she's trying to send. So far Spent over 20 minutes trying to correct her on my email address. So can't even So my work. Waste of money terrible service terrible printer.
DO NOT sign up for the readyprint subscription
DO NOT sign up for the readyink subscription if you rely on having access to a printer. They charge you, and don’t deliver the ink on time. I’m now left with two printers I can’t use as they have failed for the 5th time to deliver the black ink I need. The slogan is “never run out of ink”, so tell me why I have to call every single time to complain and ask for the ink I pay for? To then be told it could take up to 5 business days. I can’t use the printers with one missing ink. Absolutely horrendous service, actually gobsmacked at how bad it is. AVOID.

Impossible to contact Epson paid a lot of money for the faulty printer utter disgrace you can no contact the gangsters !
Bought a brand new EcoTank ET-4950 All…
Bought a brand new EcoTank ET-4950 All in One Printer to replace my old WF 3540. Hoping to save ink costs.
This is a large initial outlay (£480.00) so I was hoping for an easy setup. SOME HOPES!!!
I followed the Epson Set up Guides faithfully.
Loaded the inks.
Got the Wi-fi connection.
Then went to download the drivers for my Windows 11 Computer.
Each time I tried to download it got so far and then crashed.
After an hour, I started a chat with the Epson Help Bot. But it was unable to resolve the problem.
So I was transferred to a human "helper" call Rania.
But after another hour of trying various fixes, with still no luck, he simply stopped responding to me!!!!
No reason given, he just upped and disappeared. The connection was still live but he just stopped responding to my questions and requests for help and guidance.
CHARMING.
So I am now stuck with a very expensive lump of plastic sitting next to my computer.
Shame on you Epson.
Ordred multipack ink from Epson on 18th…
Ordred multipack ink from Epson on 18th of August , received incorrect ink three days later , told to print UPS label and send back , which i did on 26th August , havent had any contact from Epson , spent hours trying to find a phone number that gets answerd , finally found a number 03439037766 and was told that Epson are waiting for UPS !!!! Not happy at all , in future i will just buy on Ebay for half the price
Don't ever buy an Epson M1120 printer
The first time I tried to refill the ink well nothing happened....I bought a new ink bottle...still didn;t work. And when I tried to contact the Epson website it wouldn't deal with me unless I paid a £1 which made me t hink was a scam.
I looked online and found this is a common problem with these printers and the only answer seemed to be to take the thing apart....which I can't. I really wish I hadn't bought this piece of rubbish
if i could give 0 i would

EPSON READY PRINT RIP OFF MERCHANTS

I suspect Epson InkTank products have issues with degrading wifi cards and/or firmware for wireless connecting (regardless of following workarounds such as splitting 2,4 signal out). Seems that company is sending me around in circles in tech support, i.e. "Gaslighting". Makes mean feel that warranty is worthless.
This company is the worst for customer…
This company is the worst for customer services and a total rip off regarding the "cash back deal"
I registered my new printer immediately and got an email back from them stating that everything was in hand and my cash back was being processed. No cash back received and apparantly my fault for not giving my correct banking details? (Untrue)
No messages from them to say that they couldn't give cash back, which you would have thought they would have.
They now say that I didn't get back to them in time, so the offer has now closed????
ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A COMPANY
Epson
Not even that! I bought an epson printer a few months ago and tried to set it up. I gave up in the end after spending all day trying to connect.( no problem with my WIFI by the way. I've tried again today. Two hours later I contact customer service 15minutes of being connected and getting an Agent, I get cut off!! But still not fixed. I phone back and am still waiting after so far16 minutes. Does Epson actually know what their doing. Ummm!
ReadyPrint Max disaster – Forced new subscription, week-long delay, denied compensation, and serious business losses
I had an active ReadyPrint Max subscription for an Epson ET-16650U. The printer developed a serious print-head fault and became completely unusable for A3 work.
Instead of simply replacing the faulty unit under the existing contract, Epson forced me to cancel the original subscription and take out a brand new one — paying another monthly fee just so I could continue trading. The new printer was ordered on 10 August.
What followed was a week of conflicting information, broken promises, and total lack of urgency:
• Live chat agent Fatma told me the printer had “just arrived from Germany” and was waiting to be despatched. This was later confirmed as incorrect.
• Customer Care Manager Zoe Rollinson then said there was no UK stock and a European unit was being converted.
• On the morning of 17 August Zoe confirmed a prioritised express UPS service was being arranged. The shipment was instead created as UPS Standard. Tracking shows the label was created at 13:01 and the parcel only left the Cologne facility at 20:52 the same day — there was clearly time to upgrade it. Delivery is now only expected on Friday 21 August.
During this time I have been forced to cancel over £1,128 of customer orders. One marketplace alone shows £434.50 in cancelled transactions between 10–17 August. This is only one of four sales platforms. My previously excellent 5-star seller reputation has been damaged by repeated forced cancellations. I was also charged for a full week of subscription with no working printer.
Epson’s response? They formally deny all liability. They claim I “chose” to take a new subscription, that no delivery date was guaranteed, and that the small credit they gave for the old plan plus waiving an early termination fee is sufficient. A formal Notice of Claim for compensation has been submitted.
The broken printer was collected the very next day after reporting the fault. Getting a working replacement has taken over a week and cost me significant income and reputation. This is completely unacceptable handling of a paid ReadyPrint Max contract.
I will be pursuing the full losses through the Financial Ombudsman and other formal channels if necessary. I strongly advise anyone whose business depends on reliable printing to avoid ReadyPrint Max.
Bought an epson inkjet printer for…
Bought an epson inkjet printer for 160.- today. Even after three hours it would not connect to my printer. I printed a page of word doc from my mobile and it came out distorted. Threw it away after four hours of fiddling. Shocking quality
Trying to cancel ReadyPrint has been an absolute nightmare
I very rarely leave reviews like this, but my experience trying to cancel an Epson ReadyPrint subscription has been genuinely shocking. 16 email threads can you believe, with noone taking ownership, moving me from perosn to person.
I have repeatedly contacted Epson asking to cancel my subscription and close my account.
I have explained the same situation over and over again, yet I keep receiving responses from different customer service representatives who appear not to have read the previous correspondence and repeatedly answer questions I am not asking.
The most frustrating part is this:
I AM TRYING TO PAY THE FINAL BALANCE AND LEAVE.
I am not refusing to pay.
I have entered and confirmed my card details twice. I have followed the instructions provided. I have repeatedly attempted to make the payment, yet the system continues to produce errors and my account remains pending.
I have specifically asked Epson to simply send me a direct payment link or another way to pay the final balance so that the subscription can be cancelled.
Instead, I have spent days going backwards and forwards with customer service.
At one point my account also displayed a £1.99 invoice apparently relating to a billing period in 2024, alongside the current amount, which I asked Epson to explain.
I have sent screenshots.
I have provided the requested information.
I have updated my payment details twice.
I have tried to pay.
I have repeatedly asked to cancel.
I have repeatedly asked for somebody to actually read the full email history.
And I am still trying to get this resolved.
What should have been a straightforward cancellation has turned into an exhausting customer service experience.
I have now formally told Epson that I do not want another month of this subscription and that I simply want a working method to pay whatever legitimate final balance is due, cancel the service and close the account.
After this experience, I will not use Epson's subscription services again.
My advice to anyone considering ReadyPrint: understand exactly how cancellation works before signing up, because my experience trying to leave the service has been incredibly difficult.
I will update this review if Epson finally resolves the issue.
Had a ReadyPrint subscription which was…
Had a ReadyPrint subscription which was supposed to save money . It has been a deceitful and expensive lesson that Epson do not care about their customers or remotely providing a service to users . I cancelled my subscription as was being sent way more inks than I was using . They immediately cancel any remaining ink and I have multiple unopened cartridges.inqueried this only to meet an impenetrable wall of corporate responses reminding me of the legalities of their subscription and that they own the cartridges and just let me use the ink . I just wanted some sort or reasoned response but got none . They couldn't care less about their users . Avoid at all costs .
Value your sanity ...avoid Epson Printers
Purchased ET2820 in september 2022 for over £200. Had it less than 12 months... it stopped feeding paper. Within warranty Epson replaced it.
At this point I will say the new printer was always reluctant to feed the paper through. Literally every attempt to print anything was a nightmare which left me in an existential crisis questioning all my life choices which had brought me to this point.
To give an indication of how little this was used ... the only ink i ever topped up (once) is black....IN 3 YEARS!!!
Thankfully we returned from two weeks holiday in late July to find the demon disguised as a printer had finally decided to chuck every last toy from the pram.
The carriage moves, the paper feeds (FML... it chooses to start actually feeding paper now?!?), it makes all the right noises but places zero ink on paper.
I have ...
Checked nozzles, cleaned nozzles 5 times.
I have power cleaned twice.
Online suggests i have done all I can...now I must ring Epson Customer Services.
I am on hold to be put through to a technician for FOURTY MINUTES (not 15 as warned when calling due to 'high demand') to be told it is out of warranty and a service visit will be £156.00+ VAT.
ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY OF HIS MAJESTY'S GREAT BRITISH POUNDS (+VAT) to service a 3 yr old replacement printer THAT HAS NEVER WORKED PROPERLY!
I told tech he was having a laugh, that Epson should be reported for Crimes against the Environment for the resources they use to make expensive equipment with zero longevity.
My printer is off to wadte recyclying centre (or the Tip dependant on your age) and I have a £40 job on order from Amazon. It is not an Epson.
Note to Epson....have a little think...perhaps the reason your customer service line is encountering such high demand is maybe linked to the quality of your products?
Epson used to be a quality, reliable trusted brand. Those days are gone.
Do not trust or buy an Epson
They sell printers with faulty components. Give you software temporary "repair". I will call it stalling you. Then your warranty has expired. Will not provide SAR request of your technical calls. Raised this with ICO. Epson still will not provide my data. Unbelievably bad company. Do not trust them.
