thought this would be a way to help me find someone but all they ever do is cancel or reschedhule last minute also happened on the previous event i looked at

absolute joke of a company took £110 off me could let attend an event followed all terms and conditions and keep making excuses on not paying me back. absolute crap team and company need shut down.

Absolute shite. Will never use this crap again. Can’t find tickets. How could you try and run such a a pile of rubbish in this day and age. Wasted an hour of my life

Totally scam. They must be sued and banned.

Search function returns irrelevent items. Resulting events are not even sorted by date!

Review / Public Caution

Dr. Seema and Mr. V. M. Rao, along with family members, recently visited London to receive an award from the House of Lords. Since we had travelled all the way to London, a few of us also planned to visit Stockholm and, as part of our trip, booked a 2 days / 1 night Edinburgh tour through Eventbrite.

The trip was scheduled for 25th and 26th November 2025, and we paid £180 per head. However, at the 11th hour on 24th November 2025, we received a message from Ben, the tour operator, stating that the road trip from London to Edinburgh had been cancelled. The reason given was a vague and unconvincing excuse of a “mishap.”

The cancellation was communicated by Mr. Ben (Mobile: +44 7874 085007). He assured both Mr. Rao and me that the full refund would be processed before Thursday. Unfortunately, till date, we have not received any refund.

Please beware of such ticketing agency / operators who make tall claims but fail to honour their commitments and promises.

This Company is actively promoting these event organisers to set up event's that fleece hard working people of their money. A true mark of a company’s worth is that when something goes wrong is how they respond and to be perfectly honest it’s embarrassing that myself and others keep falling for the same scam. It is without any form of doubt the worst customer services anyone should have to ever deal with.

Dreadful! Complete waste of money! £23 for an adult ticket. So called xmas market consisted of 8 small stalls, half of which were expensive cakes (2 cakes cost £9), the others tacky rubbish. A handful of small fun fair rides for kids which you had to pay for. 6 or 7 food stalls. A guy 'singing' michael buble - not great - bad karaoke. And that was it! Took about 30mins to walk round the lot. Went and sat in the car for 2hours until the drone show, which was supposed to be 30minutes from 7pm. Started at 7.10pm, long wordy introduction / build up, finally drones. 20mins drone display with a story told in a childish fashion, kids were fed up and freezing by the time it came on. The drone show was cute and clever once under way, however not overly appreciated by the kids. Given the field was huge and I've been to other events at the venue that have had loads to do, this was extemely disappointing and expensive. as for the christmas market that was advertised, it was non-existent. Eventbrite are just pocketing money. Daylight robbery!

A real pain in the arse to use tickets. Tries to make you sign in to Eventbrite every time. Why??? Used to be simple a few years ago now they've ruined it.

could it be any less user friendly? as an event organiser, it's impossible to find basic ticketing information, who has bought a ticket and for which dates. deeply illogical and shit.
their fees are also completely insane. they add a £2 charge for every £15 ticket i sell. just why.

Very poor set up and not very Islamic more like real life dating site

There is no way to contact them, the ai is uselss and their contact the organiser option doesn't work. Combine this with the automated account creation which doesn't work either and I recommend you avoid if at all possible

Eventbrite Enables Fraud – Organisers Vanish, Customers Cheated

EVENT: Slow Whines & RnB: Certified Throwback – THE CAMDEN, 26/10/2025
This was nothing short of a scam. The event was advertised to start at 3:00 PM, yet when I arrived at 4:20 PM the venue was unstaffed, no bar, no DJ, no music — nothing. I waited until 5:15 PM, still no entertainment, no happy hour, and no service. Attendees left in frustration, myself included.

I emailed the organisers multiple times — no reply whatsoever. Eventbrite only sends automated responses, and their customer service is absolutely unreliable. It feels like anyone can post a fake event on Eventbrite, take people’s money, and deliver nothing. That’s exactly what happened here: a big fraud that Eventbrite allowed to happen.

Avoid this organiser and avoid trusting Eventbrite with your money.

App saved on phone is ‘tits’

Booked an event, 3 weeks before the event was due they rescheduled it a full year in the future. I request a refund by raising a ticket on their app, but got no response. 2 weeks after raising the ticket I am now having to go through my bank for a resolution.

From a Organiser perspective, Eventbrite have been wonderful and ensured I was cared for every step of the way. Their team walked me through the platform for everything I needed and has gotten me selling tickets now for my event - winner! It’s super easy for my audience to buy, for me to link my tickets to my site and make it customised for them too. I am in charge of my refunds, so anything that comes through for refunds comes directly to me to handle, which gives me complete control. Very happy!

This company just blatantly keeps your hard earned cash. I don't understand how they're getting away with it since at least 2018. Why are businesses still using this site? They are in some office in America not remotely interested in refunding any cancelled events in the UK. I filled in an online form where I met all the criteria for a refund but nothing was refunded. They just don't care.

Easy to book, digital tickets were sent immediately. Have since used them a number of times for local events

The organisers cancelled the event, promised refund with delays regarding cash flow, not it's outside of their refund period no contact whatsoever.
