I recently had a bank issue


I recently had a bank issue. It was not a fault of Finimize, but rather the fault of the two banks that deal with exchange rates. I was impressed with Finimize's customer service, where they resolved it quickly and efficiently.

I like content

I like content, service is also great! Been using for more than a year.
You can read as article/blog or listen as podcast.

Wish there were more Pro content about USA stocks and ETF (also European equivalents).

Issue accessing Premium Content

I had an issue accessing the premium content and sent a message to Finimize Customer Service. In less than 24 hours, they responded with the solution (which was my fault for not making sure I was "signed in") and I was on my way again. Thanks for the timely support.

I have tried to cancel this subscription but I am not getting any response, it would appear they have no method to unsubscribe or cancel any agreement, they get you to do the free trial but there is no message saying anything about continuous subscription.

We just located and dealt with your query, sorting out the full refund.

I can see an email was delivered to you mentioning the date of renewal on the 20th of December, and I'm sorry you didn't get a chance to see that email in time and get your renewal cancelled before it kicked in on the 2nd of January.

So a full refund is on its way to you, and I'm sorry the holiday team capacity meant it took 3 working days to deal with your query and sort out your refund, rather than the standard 1 working day response time the team normally has.

Very disappointed and surprised. I subscribed to the finimize on Black Friday this year as they had a promotion. They charged me the full price. I immediately contact finimize using their help email alias to mention this discrepancy as well as their social media account, but have had no reply for the past 2 weeks. Understand this is a busy period but they should at least manage a customer's expectations. Now I think I'm just on the full price for the whole year - very misleading. Seems like they’re just happy to just take people’s money…

Like a lot of companies these days SCAM

Like a lot of companies these days, finalize lord automatically tries to take money from your account or credit card though you have never used their services. A simple computer system (you don't need ai to do this) can see that a service is not being used and send an email or other communicate to ask the user if they wish to continue subscribing. Sadly this would mean said company would lose customers (scandals how could people do this to them they'll lose to much income).

Subscription Cancellation Solved

Like a lot of people mention app is good but, I could not cancel my subscription however Finimize Helpdesk did respond and after some investigation they confirmed I had two accounts one with my original email (this first email was used to explore Finimize) and another email created via Apple ID (this was used to pay for the initial subscription and it uses an anonymous email address to setup the payment and hence a new Finimize account is created)

So I was trying to cancel my subscription using my initial email to explore the app instead of using my Apple ID and caused much frustration.

So if you have a similar issue then login via your Apple ID and follow the steps to subscriptions.finimize profile and you will be able to cancel very easily if you decide the app isn’t for you.

The app is nice until you want to unsubscribe, which is impossible if you used a debit card directly. Now I have to delete the card and get a new one.

Nobody answers at the help email that they mentioned on other comments.

Me off 79:99 asked for refund soon as possible due to a misunderstanding didn’t get it as it says on the website refund will only apply within two weeks of payment still didn’t get my money there a scam
