Too expensive

I have cancelled my subscription in the middle of 2023, now I saw that they charged me 99$. I cancelled again at the website but you don't get any confirmation email, so you can't proof that you have cancelled...
Update one week later: Ok, I didn‘t expect this but they are fair and refunded the money.

They charged my credit card even though I canceled the service last year without asking. There is no unsubscribe button available in the account. Don't ever create account, it's impossible to get rid of them!

A disappointing experience with Finimize - Unresponsive Support Team

Finimize's customer support service, has left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied.

Here are the details:
On the 22nd of May, I was automatically billed for a new yearly subscription. Having forgotten about the automatic renewal, I found myself surprised by the unexpected charge. I reached out to Finimize's customer support team a mere four minutes after seeing the transaction, explaining the situation and inquiring about the possibility of receiving a refund.

The response was initially promising. I was attended to by customer support, Tash who, rather than addressing my request for a refund, made an alternative offer. He proposed a 50% discount on my premium subscription, citing a current campaign targeted at new users. Despite this gesture, I reiterated my desire for a full refund, seeing as I have ceased using their app altogether.

Unfortunately, this is where communication came to an abrupt halt. Despite my efforts in sending a follow-up email and persisting in my request for a refund, I was met with complete silence from their end. This unresponsiveness has been disconcerting and frustrating to say the least.

In conclusion, I am left unimpressed with my experience with Finimize's customer support. The initial quick response gave way to utter silence when the prospect of a refund was brought up. I feel let down, as I believe a reliable customer support service should prioritize the customers' needs and not leave them hanging after a transaction has been made.

Therefore, I cannot in good conscience recommend Finimize to potential customers due to this poor post-sales service.

20th of June - I received the refund today. However, your response left me a bit puzzled. I'm certain I sent more than one email, so I'm not sure where the disconnect happened. Regardless, I appreciate you taking care of the refund. Here's hoping future interactions are a bit smoother!

Somewhat useful but terrible customer service

App has its pros and cons but what makes the experience really terrible is that you can’t get anyone to get in touch with you. The app has no contact function whatsoever but even the email they’ve got on their website seems to be not monitored by anyone. Comments and messages on Instagram are also ignored.

Worth the money

The app is good for what use it for. The price for the year is pretty reasonable, I would like more analysis data, stock picks and less news stories. Other wise I like it and will keep it after my year is up

A Strategy for All

It has broken down topics, trends and strategies in the investing world into bitesize and understandable chunks for the average person. While not dumbing it down too much and giving enough detail for you to get to grips with the topic. Highly recommend and has diversified my portfolio greatly.

I listen to Finimize daily brief everyday on my way to work, followed by reading any market movement news written that day. Everyday I am exposed to news that I would probably have missed – e.g. how China approved a batch of new coal plants. The issues on latest trends is also amazing – this covers, for example, how to use ChatGPT to seamlessly analyse financial statements.

Overall, excellent if you are busy and want to get daily market updates fast.
