Brilliant CRM

Please with our decision to switch to FireFish

We switched from Profile to FireFish about 2 years ago, and I am very happy with the decision. FireFish’s stronger search and coding features have made it much easier to surface candidates already in our database, so a higher share of our placements now comes from existing records rather than external CV sources. I also appreciate that FireFish is investing in artificial-intelligence tools that promise even faster shortlisting and better matching.

There are still improvements I would like to see. The system does not let me filter searches by specific actions, such as the date of the last business-development call, the last candidate call, or the last interview, and adding these filters would save considerable time and make sales planning easier.

Customer service is good, but I have had four different customer-success managers in two years, which makes it harder to build continuity. Technical support, on the other hand, is first class, with quick responses and same-day resolutions.

We have been using Firefish for around 6 years now and the continual functionality updates and upgrades are excellent, along with the ability to suggest new functionality and integrations, and the entire Firefish user community gets to vote on it for development.
Special thanks go to Scott Sorbie, who keeps us personally updated and trained on new functions in a proactive way, and the IT support team in general for their helpfulness and cracking response times. Great product great team.

Support / Customer Service

We've used Firefish for the last 5 years and they have been brilliant throughout - we wouldn't go anywhere else! The system is very user-friendly, and the continuous updates mean that they are always looking to improve the system for users. Even taking into consideration their thoughts and feedback. Above all is the level of support / customer service they offer. It's next level! You're not waiting days for a reply, and nothing is too small for them to assist with. Even on the very rare occasion when we had a difficult issue, Wendy jumped in personally to assist. I would recommend Firefish to any and all recruiters looking for software.

I've been a Firefish customer for 10…

I've been a Firefish customer for 10 years. Scott Sorbie and the support team are a great bunch. Always willing to listen and help, and always remain calm under fire. There isn't any CRM system that covers all requirements; however, the Firefish team are constantly listening and trying to improve the CRM.
I highly recommend giving Firefish a swim around.

The WORST CRM system I used to date!

The WORST CRM system I used to date!! Very basic, way behind the innovation. If you are looking for a cheap solution that actually slow down your work and doesn’t add value - this is the system for you. My lawyers are currently looking at terminating my contract with them. To provide even more tailored help, we also arranged a free, one-to-one coaching session which was completed today, designed specifically to support you with any aspects of the system you were struggling with.

That’s why I was surprised and disappointed to see your review submitted so soon afterwards, especially as we haven’t yet been made aware of any specific functionality or workflows that you feel aren’t working for you.

I’d also like to gently point out that before signing up, you had access to full demonstrations of the system, giving you a chance to explore Firefish in detail and ask as many questions as needed to assess whether we were the right fit for your business.

I'm aware that you have shared with my team that the decision may have been rushed by you, and that’s something many businesses can relate to when scaling quickly, we completely understand, but we've still been here every step of the way to support.

Of course, we accept that no CRM will be perfect for everyone. But what we really want now is the opportunity to understand exactly what’s not meeting your expectations, so we can either help resolve it or have an open, honest conversation about next steps. So far, we’ve not received clear feedback on the features or performance issues you’re referring to in your review, which makes it difficult for us to help.

We absolutely welcome feedback — even when it’s hard to hear — but it’s much more productive when we can work through it together. If you’re open to a call, we’d be very grateful for the chance to discuss things properly and explore a way forward that works for you and your business.

Excellent Service
