FISH TANK Avis 

Absolutely awful. Ordered online for live fish. Had zero updates about it and when the delivery day came. I got nothing. I rang and emailed about it and all I got back was “well sort it” and guess what nothing happened. Only after I decided to comment on their posts on Instagram they decided to give me a refund. Never buy from this store ever!!!!!

Avoid! They are scamers. I ordered vampire crabs for my partner as she loves them. They never arrived and when trying to track them it always said the same thing, "Order waiting for fulfilment" my partner called them over and over and she was lied to. They told her they had already spoken to me and that I said it was ok that there's a delay. They most certainly did not speak to me as they almost never answer the phone and when i did eventually get through to them they put me on hold and hang up. Have been waiting weeks and we're getting no where. No refund has been offered. No emails received even though i have emailed them multiple times. No communication whatsoever. Awful company. Will be reporting to traders standards.

Do not use their online fish livestock ordering; no communication and non delivery of a placed order is no way to run a business .

If I could leave negative stars I would! Absolutely awful company to deal with! I originally reached out to them on Facebook regarding an item I was looking to order via their online store. After them confirming delivery would be possible I placed my order online for £234. Then, nothing!! Completely ignored!! I sent several messages, emails and tried calling the store but got no response! After leaving a negative comment on their Facebook post (which was then deleted by them!) I finally got a reply. They said the item wasn't in stock!! So not only had they ignored me for 9 days, they had allowed me to buy an item they never even had!! Misleading advertising!! I demanded a refund, but again was ignored! I persisted, left another Facebook post comment and finally they said they'd refund me. My Facebook comment was again deleted, along with another customers who was having the same issue! Whilst all this was happening a couple of friends had contacted them pretending to need advice and each one received a response, yet all my emails and messages were ignored!! I finally got my refund, only after demanding a confirmation email from their online store. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Took money, constantly lying about delivery date then finally stops communicating. Just wish I read all reviews before ordering. He has had many failed companies, he is just a scammer. Please don’t ever use this guy Garrie Stacey.

I only orded 1 fish and they couldn't even get that delivered properly. Never turned up, if they even sent it at all.

Had to get the bank to step in and get my money back.

I ordered a jaguar cichlid back in May which was due to be delivered the week after and never arrived, after calling non stop I finally got through and was told that the fish that was supposed to be delivered was no longer in stock and I asked how a fish that was supposedly already packaged and ready to go suddenly out of stock. I was then told they were due to restock and it would be out next week. The following week came and I had no delivery, no fish & no phone call to say why no delivery was made. As it was late I persisted to call up the next day and was told that the fish was completely out of stock and couldn’t be bought anywhere. I was concerned because of the numerous bad reviews that I’d been scammed. Not to mention the fact that I had also purchased another fish through them aswell whilst waiting for the other one. So instead of waiting an additional week I decided instead to just take a drive down to the store and pick up the fish instead.

When I arrived my second fish was there and I was given store credit for the first fish that was sold out and all my previous questions were answered and I was reassured.

I know the endless reviews are bad but the workers are very nice and welcoming and the fish and store is beautiful. Despite my first experience I’d 100% buy from here again as I think it was just a communication issue which affected me receiving my first fish but I would 100% recommend in store purchasing.

I have bought from this company twice now.
Their communication has been top-notch and the fish always arrive looking fit, healthy and well fed, and well packaged. I was messaging them back on forth via their website and they were very helpful, keeping me updated on the stock of the fish I wanted.
I’m not sure why they have so many poor reviews. Personally, I would recommend them.

My 16-year-old son used £180 of his hard-earned savings to order marine fish from this company, but the order never arrived. They even had the audacity to tell him the order had been shipped and would arrive by 1pm to then admit they hadn’t actually sent it! After multiple attempts to contact them, we still haven't received the fish or a refund. Completely disappointing and unprofessional. Would not trust this business again. Avoid at all costs!

I am a 16-year-old who has saved up for over a year to buy these fish, and I would give this shop *zero* stars if I could! I ordered £160 worth of marine fish, and the experience has been a complete nightmare. I was told my order had been shipped, but later found out that wasn’t the case. The company only answered about 4 out of 30 calls I made, and they rarely respond to messages. When I finally spoke to someone, I was told my refund would be processing by the morning, but one staff member was incredibly rude, saying, “It doesn’t matter if it’s 1pm or 6pm, you still won’t receive it until the next working day.”

That wasn't even my issue—I just need confirmation that my refund is on its way! But the company has a terrible reputation for actually processing refunds. This whole experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I would never recommend this shop to anyone!

Absolutely disgraceful
Paid for my order and 2 weeks passed by. I got in touch and he blamed bad weather for the delay, even though I had received other orders in the mean time. I decided to cancel and requested a refund. He was quite rude and said I was making out that they were holding my money ransom (which they totally were as he said he put through the refund request and it was PayPal problem now). Other refunds I got always come through basically immediately so I knew he was talking rubbish. I luckily raised a claim on PayPal and got the money immediately. Absolutely disgusting from a company. Shouldn't be allowed to do business online. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!

Scam. They take your money and leave you hanging. As of October 2024 I am still out of pocket.

Ordered Pygmy Puffer Fish on 12th September via their website. Have not received anything from them, I have emailed, messaged and posted on their Facebook page and received no information from them and only one reply shortly after the order was placed and nothing since. I've now raised a claim with PayPal.

I should have checked here first for reviews. Their Facebook reviews are for the most part ok but clearly not an accurate reflection. It certainly seems you need to avoid purchasing from these people whereby you are expecting to get a delivery by post as you either don't get it or the fish die!

I actually ordered a puffer fish and received two would have been great if both weren't dead been stuck in house last two Friday mornings waiting on re-delivery they've said they have sent that's not arrived thanks alot best part is but he killed my fish by sending them with royal mail guy needs shut down

Placed on order for over 100 quid they didn’t ship after claiming they refunded over 5 times never got the money back
Clearly scammers

Ordered marine snails from here and I wish I hadn't! After numerous emails got ignored I phoned and spoke to the manager (allegedly) who told me my order would be with me in 2 days time. Like all the other online orders it never showed up, so I've just started a claim with PayPal and will be going thru my bank and reporting it as a fraudulent business in the morning to get my money back. Luckily I paid via PayPal and card so if PayPal refuses my bank will do a card chargeback..
Avoid these scammers and buy elsewhere.

I wouldn't place an order on this website. The level of customer service is shocking. First, we had to contact the supplier after placing the order because the fish still had not arrived after a week. When we contacted the supplier to inquire about the status of our order, we were informed that it was en route. A week had passed, and there were still no fish. We called them yet again, and they then processed our order.

The box containing the fish did not indicate that it included a live animal inside when it was delivered on Friday, The fish itself was hardly alive at all. After sending an email with pictures of the fish attached, we received no reply. I was told that the store manager would give me a call back. This did not occur. My fourth call was made, and I was able to speak with the manager.

When I brought up my concerns with the manager, he became defensive and unhelpful. He did not care what I had to say and would not replace the fish or give us a refund. We were fortunate enough to be able to pause our payments because Klarna was our order source. After two months, we were finally able to get a refund from Klarna.

Wish i read the reviews first. Placed an order about 2 weeks ago. Was told the the tracking number was uploaded, it wasn't then told i would receive Friday 19th April and no show. Been messaging no reply been emailing no reply. Asked for refund but still no luck. Lucky to get 1 star. Customer service shocking.

Absolutely fantastic place, really welcoming and have helped my little girl learn what she needs to know about a snake we are looking at getting. Was happy for the kids to help feed the snakes and really got the kids engaged with all the reptiles. Would happily go there every day to visit all the reptiles, fish and the lovely staff
