outdated designs and poor customer communication

I recently purchased made-to-order seat covers for my Toyota HiAce and unfortunately the experience has been quite frustrating. The covers arrived with very minimal instructions, and it quickly became clear that the pattern is not properly suited to the current HiAce model. When I raised this issue, communication became confusing and inefficient. The retailer and the manufacturer, Sperling appear to operate separately, and much of the process involved being passed back and forth between the two, with each party deflecting responsibility rather than working towards a clear solution.
Despite confirming multiple times I would keep the product and make my own adjustments the back-and-forth has continued for two weeks with no clear resolution or internal coordination between the companies.

The product itself may be workable, but the lack of updated fitment, poor instructions, and especially the ongoing communication issues made the overall experience disappointing. I would strongly suggest better alignment between the retailer and manufacturer, as well as clearer, up-to-date product specifications for customers.

Avoid at all costs, you will lose your money

If you are happy to part with your money and receive no product then, by all means, use these guys, I won’t ever recommend them to anyone or use them ever again.
I placed an order for a dashmat 4 Feb 2026, seven weeks later, I was still waiting. I contacted their customer support only to be told the manufacturer was experiencing delays and my order will be fulfilled as soon as possible, this is a load off crap. I have now cancelled my order and, from their email, a refund will take 5-7 business days.

Not even worth one star.

I wouldn't even give the one star but 13 weeks after my order, I finally got a refund. Ordered a dash mat. Constant, "next week" , responses to emails. You have to chase them. Production delays is their go-to excuse.
DO NOT USE THEM AS THEIR SERVICE IS HOPELESS.

SCAM COMPANY **** ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK **** Ordered a dashboard mat on 9th February. Ordered incorrect one so emailed them straight away. Ordered correct size. Multiple emails where they promised to redund the $100+ for incorrect mat Ordered. Still no refund 6 weeks later. They didn't dispatch the other one until 11th March so over a month later. 0800 # and live chat don't work. Finally received product 18th March. STILL NO REFUND FOR 2ND MAT RECEIVED.

Honestly never buy off these wankers, I ordered a dash mat for my car on the 18th of January, never received a email of dispatch, they stated that I would get a dispatch email no later than 20th of January so I emailed them on the 20th of February asking why I still hadn’t received one and asked for my money back, it is now the 15th of March and I still haven’t gotten my money back.

Don’t use this company

I purchased a couple of items from this company, the floor mats were ok, but probably cheap quality for the money paid ( expensive) and then I purchased a dash mat that is supposed to be a fitted product. It is nothing like my dash and obviously the wrong product however I’m being charged postage to return it. So my advice is DONT do business with this company and definitely don’t believe what the website says about returns and refunds. You will be getting ripped off

Ordered my dash mate on the 29th of Janurary. Still hasnt been sent. Company is full of lies, a friend ordered his after mine, his has been sent, mine still hasn't. What a joke.

Dispatch time is a LIE

Ordered my dashmat for a PJ Ranger on Jan 28 2026. The max time they said on the website was 2 weeks when ordering. Waited a week and tracked my order saying it was estimated to be on ways Feb 12. It is now feb 25th and it is still in processing, absolute joke🙌 UPDATE: it arrived 9/3/26 and its the wrong dash mat, so fair to say I will not be shopping from here again

Didn’t advertise that they don’t have the dash mat in stock and after 3 weeks of waiting I emailed and they said they were waiting to receive from suppliers. They shouldn’t sell them if they aren’t in stock. They had no idea when they were going to have any when asked

A little sketchy experience but I got what I wanted

My 2006 Pontiac Vibe/Toyota Matrix hardly has any new interior parts for sale online and I needed new floor mats and I wanted OEM-like. And after some research, I came across FitMyCar. I liked that they offered OEM-like mats for a huge variety of cars and it would fit "perfectly". I ended up ordering the mats on the beginning of Nov. 2025. Before purchasing, I did not look up any reviews online. Later on when I did after purchasing, I had some regrets at first. I got only a single email saying that it will take two weeks to make and it will be "dispatched" by then and I would get an email about it. Two weeks gone by and I did not get any email and so I tracked the package on the website and it said that it was "shipped". So not a lot of information given about tracking packages but it is what it is. Then around the end of Nov. 2025 I got a package at my door and it was the floor mats! I was really excied about it but still no email with it even being delivered.

The overall quality of the mats for me is really good. About 4 months in and they are really sturdy and fits my car perfectly!

Over 2 weeks since ordering. No tracking. Still says order is processing. Should be zero stars. Avoid this company. Overpriced and a scam of a company. Lodging a PayPal dispute.

Very lucky to even get one star

Very lucky to even get one star. Ordered 26.12.25, estimated dispatch date of 9.1.26. Tried every week since then to find out if it has been dispatched. Each week, I have been told 'next week'. Apparently a problem with their suppliers. Disgraceful. I would definitely not buy again from this company

this is the only dashmat that had or has a cut in it and not banded

The slit/flap in the dash mat you received is there by design. To have full coverage of the dash including the frontal section over the airbag, the flap is included to ensure the dash mat folds up and out of the way if the airbag deploys.

It creates a weak point at which the fold will occur. This ensures that if ever the Passenger-side airbag deploys, the dash mat would not interfere with this safety feature. Most other dashmats on the market would stop above the airbag and avoid needing this feature but we have included it for additional sun protection.
I hope this makes sense and explains why it is there.

Product did not fit, despite advertising perfect fit

For anyone wanting to compare fitmycar bedrock liner to the phd liner.
Bedrock liner ($255) almost 50% more
- passenger side: fit well enough, not perfect, did lift away but probably would have moulded well with time. gives more coverage than PHD equivalent
- Driver side: fit well.
- rear liner: did not fit. it fouled on the passenger seat rails, and on both the passenger seat and driver seat depending on position of each seat. The liner also did not sit flat on the floor.
Have attempted to get a refund. it is so far day 23 since ordering, day 15 since alerting fitmycar of the issue (who make bedrock).
I had to:
1. alert them of issue, providing photos and video
2. have them have a 'fit technician' review the photos
3. them film me reinstalling the rear liner
4. them suggest they could be sent back to be trimmed or for me to trim them myself.... on a product thats almost $100 more expensive, no way is this acceptable
5. i filmed how even with their additional advice, i now discovered that the fit also fouled on the seats in addition to the rails... i also had to show them extracts of the ACL to agree to a refund
6. The liners have now been with fit my car for over 24 hours and they still refuse to let me know if my refund is confirmed or when it will be processed
PHD ($179):
1. Passenger side fit: Perfect, would have preferred to go a bit higher on the firewall but they fit exactly as they should
2. Driver side: Perfect fit, no comments
3. Rear liner: Perfect fit, no comments
Overall, they are a softer and grippier finish than the bedrock, which was harder and more slippery
i ordered and received the liners inside 3 days even with the christmas rush
i can attach videos and photos for people to compare.

Not fitted …

The floor mats I received for my 2007 Cadillac adequate although thin. They were not fitted at all to my model despite their claim that that was what I was ordering. I could have bought these for half the price locally.

Do not order from this company or any other Chinese retailer. I've spent the last year and quite a bit of cash on items that looked beautiful on various websites. I found that most to all of these websites ship from China. Quality and actual product ALWAYS differs from what is advertised. Do your research. Before you buy, check websites like Trustpilot and other truth telling resources. China does not give a F about American consumers. You have been warned.

Avoid buying anything from this scamming company, customer service is bull crap, no communication or confirmation when you make an order. I ended up cancelling my order and now I’m waiting for a refund, 3 weeks later still waiting I’m not banking on getting my money back any time soon, AVOID THESE SCAMMERS DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR HARD EARNED CASH, RIP OFF’S…

Poor Customer service skills/ 10 days delayed dispatch/ No tracking number

5/11/2025 - purchased a dash mat for Mazda CX90
10/11/2025 - still no tracking number

Spoke to Anne MAYO from customer service, sounded like she was working from home, could barely hear her and would not give clear update on the product. She stated the product would be dispatched around the 19th November?

Refund requested, would not be dealing with them again.

Stay away from this dodgy business.

Total scam

I would give it 0 stars.
This company is a scam. I ordered car floor mats. They show they are in Louisville Kentucky for 12 days now. I ordered them in early July. Supposedly shipped from Australia to California. Customer service is just some guy who yells at you in a foreign voice. Emails sent just keep telling me that they can't refund my money because UPS shows the package is going to be shipped the next day, for 12 days now. No one has contacted UPS from their end. UPS can't go any further with me because I'm not the shipper. Don't use this place. Total scam.
