The idea for “FORE” Business came about in 2013 when the founders, Sean Fergusson & Arron Busst, met at a local networking event and got talking about golf as a common interest. They soon got round to talking about the business successes they had on the golf course. It became clear business and golf has always unofficially gone hand in hand. The green being the perfect ‘playing field’ for important business meetings, discussions and negotiations to take place; so “FORE” Business was born with the thought, ‘what better way to encourage successful business relationships, than to create an actual members club for business owners who enjoy golf and love to network?’. "FORE" Business now has over 1700 members across 120 groups that are part of our ever growing community. Our groups meet every month across the UK, USA, Spain and Dubai and we have seen in excess of £250 million pounds worth of new business being shared on and off the golf course. I’ve been a member of the Fore Business community for over 10 years, and I can confidently say it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made—both personally and professionally. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some truly great individuals, many of whom I now consider close friends.

I was invited along as a guest and what a great bunch of people. The course was amazing and the whole format was friendly and welcoming. It's a shame my standard of golf didn't match the quality of the event.

I have been a member for 8 years and have found the relationships and network value to be well worth it. The golf with like minded business owners / decision makers is great and I have had some great work via contacts in the network. If you like golf and want to develop your business (and yourself) I suggest giving it a go. Free trials are available.

Great network group to be a part of.
I've been a member since August 2024, and my home club is Buxton (Cavendish). In case you haven't been, make sure you flexi on asap as it's awesome.
We've got a really good group and there's loads of business opportunities and you get to play golf a couple of times per month, as long as you use your complimentary 4-ball. They also offer monthly virtual meet-ups, I did my first one yesterday and it was a great way to get your business name out there, especially if you want to highlight your services and specify what type of client you're looking for.

I have been with fore-business for over 10 years and it is light years ahead of any other networking body I have experienced, and you get to play golf! As a golf coach (also training and certificating golfers to become golf coaches) I can do as much business as I desire but I have also enjoyed professional help and advice from so many members over the years. With a membership full of business owners you are given access to key decision makers. Golf provides the perfect platform and time to assess the suitability of prospects and suppliers.

we had a fabulous meeting at The Forest of Arden group this week with 36 atendees. Sean and David also attended. my business Print Design Team has recived great value from being part of Fore, ive made some suprb business connections within the membership and also enhanced existing connections with my current client by way of using my 'free' 4 ball on a monthly basis.

One of the best decisions I have made...
I joined Fore Business 4 years ago on a flexi membership as my business focuses on supporting business owners across the West Midlands. There were great networking opportunities at my Birmingham home group but even more when I flexed across to Sandwell, South Staffs, Leamington, Telford, Crewe, Stratford and Shirley. My 4 balls were great for entertaining clients, prospects and contacts. It wasn't long before I was giving business referrals and gaining clients myself. Last year I took on the role of joint Ambassador at the Birmingham group and love introducing new business owners to our network.
