The idea for “FORE” Business came about in 2013 when the founders, Sean Fergusson & Arron Busst, met at a local networking event and got talking about golf as a common interest. They soon got round to talking about the business successes they had on the golf course. It became clear business and golf has always unofficially gone hand in hand. The green being the perfect ‘playing field’ for important business meetings, discussions and negotiations to take place; so “FORE” Business was born with the thought, ‘what better way to encourage successful business relationships, than to create an actual members club for business owners who enjoy golf and love to network?’. "FORE" Business now has over 1700 members across 120 groups that are part of our ever growing community. Our groups meet every month across the UK, USA, Spain and Dubai and we have seen in excess of £250 million pounds worth of new business being shared on and off the golf course. Possibly the best investment!
Not only would I highly recommend but actively promote Fore Business to anyone who'll listen. It's not just networking but it's easy to relate as it's members have more than just being a business owner in common. We're all golf mad too making new connections very easily. With the opportunity to grow your business network on a weekly basis but I've grown my social circle too. Possibly the best investment I've ever made!

A few years ago when I was told that I could build my networking contacts and business through playing golf I was a bit skeptical. Fast forward 6 years and it's been an amazing experience. Meeting so many like minded individuals who have become friends. All supporting each other to grow their businesses whilst playing some of the best golf courses in the UK. No golfing skills needed just the right attitude that you can have fun whilst helping other people. A great businesses growth strategy for me as the return on my investment has been massive. Also the friendships and banter is second to none.

The concept is genius
The concept of golf and business in itself is genius, but when you start adding monthly meetings, weekly virtual meetings, regional championships, international golf travel to play other teams across the world, all while emphasizing the need to network for your own business and that of you fellow members is what makes FORE truly special. I have made many connections since joining and have really enjoyed the support for the network.

Guilt free golf
Guilt free golf. It’s exactly what they say. It’s such a fantastic way to network, you really get to know people better. I’ve been in Fore for less than a year, I’ve used several people in Fore and gained work from it too. It’s also been a great way to promote my new app, Score My Golf. Everyone is helping by putting me in touch with golf day organisers. Couldn’t recommend Fore enough, you don’t even have to be good at golf!

I joined Fore in March 2024 after trialling with a Golden Ticket. It has been a fantastic 11 months of golf and networking. I have made some great relationships and have been fortunate enough to win some business for my SEO Agency - Parlez Creative. Fore is a no-brainer!

Business networking at it's finest
I've been a member since 2017 and Fore Business continues to get better and better. For my Marketing Company Doubletapmarketing.co.uk I've made so many friends, connections, won business, given business and continue to expand my network that it continues to be an absolute no-brainer.
The ethos that the owners Sean & Arron have instilled from the start echoes throughout each of the groups I've been to that it's not 'how can you help me', it's 'who do I know, that can help you'.
Further to the golf, there is a whole array of additional means to get your name out to a huge amount of business owners in the UK and globally so even if you can't play, you can always connect.

FORE Business is great in many ways ... if you're in business and play golf it is a must to join!
That might be to grow your network, find new suppliers, or learn from other business owners. Additionally, you will build great connections and business opportunities.

The "FORE" Business Team
I used to do all sorts of networking…
I used to do all sorts of business networking (BRE, BRX, BNI etc), however, being an avid golfer, when I was invited to the inaugural "Fore" Business meeting in March 2013 I jumped at the opportunity. "Fore" has since become my only source or networking, as it is so much more rewarding than the others, AND you get to enjoy a round of golf!
The networking is pretty standard, however, getting the opportunity to then have a one-to-one with 2 or 3 other business people while you enjoy the golf, is priceless. The old addage that "business gets done on the golf course" comes true when you join "Fore" Business.

A great community
