F.R. Jones & Son Avis 

Really good prices but ordered a leaf blower that arrived 2 months later, could've done with it within a month at most, I had to keep contacting them to find out what was going on, customer service could be improved by sending updates every Monday morning to keep customers in the loop.
Helpful when you got through but I think I would of opted to pay £20 more to get it the next day with another shop.

Lack of communication from F.R. Jones. The order took a while to arrive & when it did only part of the order was received. I’ve had no communication from F. R. Jones to advise me if or when the rest of the order will be received.

The Customer Service department were all great. I would only suggest that when sending liquid products, "right side up" should be indicated and that packaging to prevent damage should be all around the product not just on one side.

The order was placed 28 October and we received the last items 9 May

Delivery was great, and the new wheels for the imow work great.

As always the customer service was great, regular updates and speedy responses to queries on stock availability etc. There is a shortage of available chainsaws and accessories on the market at the moment and these guys were the only shop that could provide availability/a date for my chainsaw to be in stock and at the best price. Everything I ordered came in at roughly the same period as estimated. As soon as it was stocked it was delivered the next day. I had a lot of items to get and only had a short period of which to receive them, and, despite shopping around I realised that my best hope of getting them and at the best price would be do order everything from Fr Jones. I always try to use them regardless as I think they are a good company and are a pleasure to use.

Additionally, on a couple of occasions, I have had to send items back under warranty and these issues were swiftly dealt with and hassle free.

Very competitively priced, supplier even rang confirming item had been shipped. Quick delivery. Happy with purchase

Not a great experience to be fair. I ordered a Stiga hedge trimmer and battery but the battery took over 3 weeks to arrive despite being shown as in stock on their website.
My first email was ignored, my 2nd email was answered with a promise to get back to me but no one did.
To be honest I don't mind waiting longer for delivery as long as someone informs me that there will be a delay, which they didn't.

Excellent and friendly customer service, quick to find a resolution to my issue. Only reason for 4/5 is that I had to chase them down to find out where my much delayed order was.

Item took 8 months to arrive, i wouldnt have minded if i had been told the reason for the delay, but all emails stated delivery date was pushed back.

Item was well packaged so as to prevent damage, still to try them out

I bought a petrol leaf blower over the phone on Bank Holiday Monday from the shop in Swanley. The customer service was excellent & the item was delivered 2 days later.

One star for price (competitive) one for delivery (two days). After that it's downhill. I ordered a chainsaw which I couldn't get to work. I'm not a chainsaw novice but emailed for technical advice in case I was missing something obvious (19/4 - No reply) I then called and eventually spoke to someone who talked me through start-up options including one I hadn't tried. Still it didn't work so it was returned to them to get it working. They've had it almost two weeks and I have called three times, only once did I get a promised return call (3/5) with an update saying that they were 'looking at it now'. 48 hours later still nothing. With no explanation forthcoming my next call will be to request a refund. Very frustrating.

The plants were healthy and vibrant, and they were packaged carefully so that they arrived in excellent condition.

The mower arrived, had not been prepped and tested prior to delivery. Drive didn’t work, engine hunts and fails to start. Also realised the mower wasn’t 4 wheel drive as advertised. Given them opportunity to correct but customer service is poor. Will return and buy else where really disappointed, I will also be contacting STIGA
