F.R. Jones & Son Avis 

They rang me as I’d ordered the wrong bar for my chainsaw so that was good.

I ordered several items and 5 weeks later no news. For me it wasn’t a problem or I would have contacted them sooner . They were waiting for a file handle £1.09 to arrive to ship so maybe slightly lacking on the communication front but overal happy with purchase and price.

Super fast delivery, trousers and boots fit so ideal!

Order for two Stihl brush cutter blades placed Feb from memory arrived late April with no explanation. I like FRJones and have been a customer since your railway arch business in Lee but this was disappointing.

I ordered a Stihl Hedge cutter last October and was told it would be delivered next month - still hasn't been. Stihl now have it in stock for immediate delivery.

Why don't Stihl supply them - perhaps their accounts are a clue.

I have asked for a refund - 20 emails later nothing.

The device arrived, although it took some time which I believe was a problem at the source and not at FRJones. It's in good nick and if the weather ever improves I'll get out and try it out.

I recently ordered 2 pairs of women's trousers. They were delivered when expected, which was very convenient.
The email confirming my order said I would be kept in touch as my order moved through the system. Although I heard from the helpful courier companies, I had no further emails from FR Jones & Son.
One pair of trousers fitted well and were good quality so I was very pleased with them. The other pair were nice trousers but too small, so I had to return them. There was nothing with the trousers telling me how to return them and no return label, so I looked it up on the website. The website said that if anything was being returned, FR Jones & Sons required an email explaining the reason for return. I sent an email but didn't receive an acknowledgement. I had to print out a Returns form and fill in details of the item I was returning and copy the address for returns onto the parcel - a pre-printed address label would have been helpful. I returned the trousers 2 days after I received them but over a week later, I still had no acknowledgement that they had been received or that my refund was being processed. I was worried that I might have written the wrong address and they had gone missing, so I sent an email to FR Jones & Sons asking if they had been received. I did not receive a reply to this email either. A few days later, I did receive 2 emails - one was a Credit Memo and the other a Return Authorisation - but there was no written element to the email saying when I could expect to receive the refund. The refund did arrive a couple of days later. Whilst the system did eventually work, there was a lack of contact from the Company which caused me to worry that the trousers were lost. It would have been helpful to have been updated as my order and the refund moved through the system, as was promised in the original email. This makes me reluctant to order anything else.

I was recommended this company. Top customer service and talked me through what was involved in my chain saw service. They worked their magic and starts first time, everytime !!!!! Never ever happened before.. Must be the Aspen 2 fuel!! 😄
