Fast delivery and a good price
I ordered a pair of Merrell walking shoes. Not only was the price cheaper than I had found elsewhere for a current (not sale) product, but the shoes arrived the day after I placed my order (the order was placed between Christmas and New Year, so I was expecting to wait until January).

We've looked into your order. The order was despatched on 29th December which was the first posting date after Boxing Day as 28th December was a Bank Holiday this year. The order was despatched via Royal Mail.
Some of the items shipped on this day were delivered the next day but some have taken a little longer owing to the holiday period. As we state on our website http://www.gearforgirls.co.uk/delivery-information/ 'We will still be shipping your orders over the holiday period...however delivery times will vary. We've turned off the Next Day Delivery option and our Express postage will take a little longer than normal owing to the Bank Holidays... just remember to be patient!' Royal Mail did not deliver on 31st owing to the holidays and today is our first day back after the New Year Bank Holiday and we are now responding to your email. We're a small company, most of us have children and we don't expect staff to work on Bank Holidays.
I'm hoping the parcel will be delivered to you today or tomorrow.

They came in 2 days.
The hoodie is excellent. I've already worn it on a hill run in icy conditions and the hood and fold over cuffs were just the job

Lack of a reply
I have always found Gear for Girls to be competitively priced and a purveyor of quality goods. However I had a recent issue when I could not log ion. I was sure password was correct but it wouldn't work, I requested a password re-set but nothing was received. I contacted Gear for Girls through the website contact box, without a response. I tried a further time to enable contact and did eventually receive a response apologising for lack of a reply. However nothing on re-setting my password. In the meantime I had ordered as a guest and am pleased with my purchase, just a bit disappointed about the poor communication.
